@AresMarveL certainly not taking away from your gameplay...I'm just jealous lol I luck out normally being the only tank, and lucky to get one healer. Even then I can't expect even one amazing healer to keep an entire team alive.
@ Probably cuz Venom gets kinda worse the higher up you go. In low ranks he's a menace, but then becomes much harder to play when supports know how to stunlock you. Either way, I mostly play him because I have the most fun with him compared to other Vanguards

Feel like venom is going to need some buffs after this season ends. Love venom. I know he can be "annoying", but as far as were seeing right now on public stats for both QP and Comp, hes one of the lowest performing heroes overall, and basically the lowest performing tank. I cant imagine losing 150 health is going to help that at all.
If he is going back to a 650 tank health they should buff either the damage of his abilities or the cooldown, i feel like when he pops his shield he should be immune to cc like magneto and hulk.
@@meagloaf8559i personally would like to see shield health give reduced ult charge gains when they shoot it. Right now venom dives in, gets cc’d four times, pops his shield, gets cc’d six more times, dies, and the enemy gets like 40% ult charge off his ~1500 hp
1) use tentacles while on the wall 2) frenzied arrived can be used as a dash attack on ground (more entrance/exit options 3) if frenzied arrival is used as a bomb, creates a slow effect in its aoe, stacking with cellular corrosion 4) web can be used as a chain grab if targeted on an enemy 5) if getting a headshot with the bite melee attack, instant 15% ultimate (lore accurate venom) None of these are just “number go up”, all lean into his existing kit and create new synergies while staying true to the character
@@facelessnameless Many of these are things ive wanted for venom myself. Venom needs more than a "numbers change" to me. Maybe a small double jump that would let him use frenzied arrival without having to webswing or set up on a wall first. Being able to attack from walls would be amazing. His ult kinda sucks. I actually feel his melee attacks should do closer DPS to his tentacle attacks. When think of venom, i think of a hero who meless/punches/bashes opponents, not someone who pokes them with tendrils. Im glad hes got the range - But melee should bea smidge better to me. The tendrils get headshots, the punches dont - So youre trading peak damage for "consistency", i think thats a good game mechanic approach. But ya, hell need some love i feel.
Crazy game, I’m curious, do you play in a stack? Been solo queuing in diamond 1 and have been wondering if playing with a stack is smarter cause it’s been a struggle with my teams recently.
1:56 what I always do here to maximize dmg while falling is to attack with left click and try to headshot, as soon as 3 to 4 tentacles hit use the slam and go for the usual combo, ofc if u hit them u get a free kill, they dont expect the burst of headshots+ slam

Just found your channel, I have been addicted to your gameplay. You are absolutely insane as venom🤯. I feel I’m better at dps than any other role but I want to branch out and try to get good at a certain tank but venom looks sick. It is extremely hard to branch out though, I feel I let my team even more down if I try something different out but again I know I’ll never get better for myself and future teams if I don’t. Do you have any tips for a solo Que player or is it just strictly personal skill+ good teammates?. I play on ps5 controller fyi
Being solo is rough, but you got this! Just keep practicing with Venom and try playing some casual match first to get a feel for him! And personal skill is a plus but teammates is even better to have just makes the games go smoother!👊🏼😁

you need to use his wall climbs for engaging in a fight more, so you can save your swing to escape and if your dive is back then you could re-dive again

A little criticism as a venom player: 1. I’ve noticed you’ve popped ur shield buff way too early sometimes, especially after you’d dive in. 2. You are on the ground a lot, especially when fighting big groups, you should utilize his wall run and ground pound more 3. Not using swings as much as you could. Your accuracy and movement with swings is really good, but you’re letting yourself get ganged up on sometimes without swinging away to ur healers.
Not trying to backseat but i see you depend a lot on the swing-dive combo, almost every venom player i watch forgets they can walk/run over walls, this gives you the power to ambush and dive (+ get info for the team) more aggresively since you dont need the swing to engage but to escape once the shield is around 300hp. Just wall-run for a second then dive or just use a car or anything in the environment to gain a minimum height to slam.

The way i see venom especially at higher ranks they need to give him some small buffs to his right click (either increase slow or damage of explosion) and his left click attack hitbox is so so small to the point in most cases it's impossible to hit headshots and either they should increase the hitbox by tiny bit or straight up remove the headshot dmg and make his dmg be the same regardless where you hit the enemy but increase his dmg as result as he doesn't have a headshot multiplier anymore. I say this because when you compare him to dr strange/groot/magneto (yes they have diff playstyle but still there are better vanguards than venom) he needs some buffs on his kit.
yup venom is most definitely weaker from all the tanks! And his right click being slowed more would actually be great cuz it will initiate the player to go for more easy headshots! the slowed we got now doesn't do anything they still move so fast!😂

you unlock new kill effects as you level up each hero proficiency. That's why his icon in the bottom right is different as well. You can see all the effects and icons in hero gallery
Hey I'd like to give a little feedback, your video was great! However, your thumbnail is really bright so its hard to tell what I'm looking at. I'd say decrease the amount of saturation and it'll be a lot better!
Venom by himself can't achieve much, he really needs that help from teammate when he engaged and skills are on cooldown. Without the help from team in terms of both the damaging(focus the target that you dive in) and healing(Venom is just a big punching bag without healing to sustain him while he is in the middle of brawling) he just can't do much. Also there's that punching bag problem, tanks that are less mobile than him have shields, and those who are more mobile can disengage more easily. Hulk can do both which is why there are so many Hulks in high elo. Also to pair up with Strange cause Strange is the best tank character in the game so far, he has: shield with no cooldown(even magneto have that 3 secs CD), portal for big teamplay protentional, high damage with burst, and that big CC ult, Strange has everything a team needs to win a team fight. A Venom that doesn't play well just let the enemy team charging their ult for free. So a good Venom needs to know when to engage, and the team needs to help while he's engaging.

Hi i have a request i am from India and plays Marvel Rivals Venom main on Singapore an Tokyo server SOLO Q , most of the time i am the only tank in my team and the opponents just bully me when i dive in the all 6 opponents jump on me and kill me or the healers start healing each other, in my team healers don't even heal properly and i am lossing the matches so i want to ask how i can solo carry my team please reply bro.
Okay to be honest stay with your team more and stop diving so much that’s 1 I’ve learned the hard way in higher elo, 2 if you are gonna dive don’t do it where you know you can’t get any heals or just to far in general it’s not worth it, 3 this is a last resort you might have to switch to another tank that will help the team more cuz venom is more of a selfish hero he usually plays of himself i had plenty of times i had to switch just to win the game!

WOW no aimbot .. you are 200% legit i saw 0 auto lock autofire or autospin GG :) your good ....but bad ecperience only time i saw a venom going 40 to 60 ...was doing insta 180 locking head autofire... a venom with aimbot was very blatent and deadly could track anythong even trought unbreable walls

This skin is p2w and p2l at the same time. Its p2l bc u are super visible so it makes you very easy to see. On the other hand, the color of the dive is super easy to see so it is much easier to aim ur dive, and the mvp animation is so tough so u want to go for it every time.
@@AresMarveL I also noticed sometimes u either dive on the tanks or the supports. How do you know when to alternate diving on the tanks or the supports
@ if tanks are low i will dive them but as we fight and they get healed that’s when I’ll go for their healers while everyone else is distracted if you’re going to dive healers do it when everyone is fighting it’ll make your life a lot easier!😁

That primary on console is absurdly annoying to use. I only play him on PC and wont touch venom on console.

not for me but with venom in general only when I jump with him I can't see shit cuz his arm is in the way so try not to jump as much!😅

Level up his proficiency by using him a bunch. Click on a hero in the heroes tab and scroll to the far right and itll say proficiency

Idk how when people get a k.o the thing pops up as blue instead of yellow and for your its popping up as black? Is there a way to change it from yellow to any other colours
you unlock new kill effects as you level up each hero proficiency. That's why his icon in the bottom right is different as well. You can see all the effects and icons in hero gallery

go to venom and then proficiency and see what level you on and rewards is where you can change it!👍

It was iron fist but high elo it’s very difficult to use him so i just go hawkeye if my team needs a dps(if he’s not banned)!🤣

Hey I'd like to give a little feedback, your video was great! However, your thumbnail is really bright so its hard to tell what I'm looking at. I'd say decrease the amount of saturation and it'll be a lot better!

Venom by himself can't achieve much, he really needs that help from teammate when he engaged and skills are on cooldown. Without the help from team in terms of both the damaging(focus the target that you dive in) and healing(Venom is just a big punching bag without healing to sustain him while he is in the middle of brawling) he just can't do much.
Also there's that punching bag problem, tanks that are less mobile than him have shields, and those who are more mobile can disengage more easily. Hulk can do both which is why there are so many Hulks in high elo. Also to pair up with Strange cause Strange is the best tank character in the game so far, he has: shield with no cooldown(even magneto have that 3 secs CD), portal for big teamplay protentional, high damage with burst, and that big CC ult, Strange has everything a team needs to win a team fight.
A Venom that doesn't play well just let the enemy team charging their ult for free. So a good Venom needs to know when to engage, and the team needs to help while he's engaging.

I feel like they need nerf some supporters little but not much but like in rank for me every time they are low they just keep healing so they should reduce the ability or cool down
But I like if venom get a buff after this season
Healing is overturned but hopefully when the seasonal buffs go down it can feel less overwhelming

Hi i have a request i am from India and plays Marvel Rivals Venom main on Singapore an Tokyo server SOLO Q , most of the time i am the only tank in my team and the opponents just bully me when i dive in the all 6 opponents jump on me and kill me or the healers start healing each other, in my team healers don't even heal properly and i am lossing the matches so i want to ask how i can solo carry my team please reply bro.
Okay to be honest stay with your team more and stop diving so much that’s 1 I’ve learned the hard way in higher elo, 2 if you are gonna dive don’t do it where you know you can’t get any heals or just to far in general it’s not worth it, 3 this is a last resort you might have to switch to another tank that will help the team more cuz venom is more of a selfish hero he usually plays of himself i had plenty of times i had to switch just to win the game!

This skin is p2w and p2l at the same time. Its p2l bc u are super visible so it makes you very easy to see. On the other hand, the color of the dive is super easy to see so it is much easier to aim ur dive, and the mvp animation is so tough so u want to go for it every time.

@@AresMarveL I also noticed sometimes u either dive on the tanks or the supports. How do you know when to alternate diving on the tanks or the supports
@ if tanks are low i will dive them but as we fight and they get healed that’s when I’ll go for their healers while everyone else is distracted if you’re going to dive healers do it when everyone is fighting it’ll make your life a lot easier!😁
