That verse on High Powered and that verse on Serial Killa was insane!!!!!
I agree... ran across this high powered joint too
ua-cam.com/video/T1PZ6FtjzYo/v-deo.html
His verse on Dre's aftermath presents album "east coast west coast killa" was fire. Favorite verse to me over Nas, krs, and b real.
his verses on rbx files are super creative and dope. He's from a different cloth of rappers than your average westcoast rapper talking about lowriders
YEP STRAIGHT FIRE 🔥
RBX killed on "The Chronic", but I love his verse on Eminem's album, on the song "Remember Me".
banned from tv... heavy weight hitter...
Was listening to that track yesterday too dope underrated track on mmlp
His best work is RBX Files in my opinion. The album didnt make much noise because he wasnt doing the typical gangster rap, which was popular at that time. it basically consists of creative mcing and beat picking and ist pretty dope. RBX spit some crazy shit on there. He definitly has supreme wordplay and creativity compared to your average westcoast rapper. Plus a unique delivery
Grammy statuS,cuh! Lol
@@bigbaba1491 slip into long Beach and rough is the texture are both extremely gangsta tracks though
I respect RBX for not talking bad about anyone, but I need a part 2 & 3 to this interview.
"Deranged, like the hill side strangler, mc mangler, tough like wrangler"🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I write a rhyme hard as concrete
"Pay attention to this mention of sorts, you're a victim of my drive by of force"💪💪🔥🔥🔥💪🔥
Blinded by the light it's time you learn braille, I'm a lunatic I'm death like arsenic!!
BARS!!!
You got it a little wrong, bruh...its "pay attention to this lynchin' of sorts, you're a victim from my drive by of thoughts"
Remember Me? I Drop Bombs Like Hiroshima
Classic fuckin line 🔥
Gangsta Macc when RBX said High Powered he was referring to the song on the Chronic.
Remember Me is grievous
The Song I Was Referring To Is A.W.O.L
Remember Me? Seven Execution
Remember Me? I Have No Remorse
Remember Me? I'm High Powered
Remember Me? I Drop Bombs Like Hiroshima
Cesar Vallejo ya he recycled those lyrics for the Eminem song.
"I write a rhyme, hard as concrete, step to me and get burnt like mesquite"
”Step to *the heat”
Step to the heat and get burnt like mesquite.
Some of the hardest shit ever wrote bro..
TOUGH LIKE WRANGLER
Props to RBX! I always thought cuzz look real similar to Slink Johnson.
Daevon Sibert hell yeah 😂
Lol, right.
He do now that I think about it. 😄

RBX is the truth. Humble dude. You can tell he's a stand up dude. One of the first to bounce from the Row cuz he wasn't down to get punked by Suge.
He got punked like the rest of them dogg pound niggaz he said in this interview coach/football kept him from gangbangin but when Suge tripped on him about the chicken and called him all kinds of crabs and rickets he called Suge the s word but then afterwards he never did nothing to Suge for pulling the strap on him
RBX is a laid back legend who has spit the most ferocious and memorable lyrics in the history of music. I love when he talks about his lady driving him to recording sessions. This is a real dude right here!
RBX is a beast on the mic.
"Not pic-a-nic basket..pic-a-nic casket!!"
RIP Bad Azz, he was a great soul. Always answered my calls and was a good friend.
This interview is absolute 🔥🔥🔥🔥RBX is a Smooth OG who's obviously %100 certified. Has a great story without bad mouthing , not telling people's business or self incriminating himself. Props to the interviewer. I've subscribed and liked.
Seems like those record residuals started coming through happy for you big rbx your talented & contributed a lot to the chronic & doggystyle...salute✊🏾✊🏾
"Not picnic baskets, picking out caskets" 🔥🔥💪💪
Leo Mabry *pin a nic caskets
RBX kill it on "the day the Niggaz took over". Deadly vocal
Yo RBX AND LORD HAVE MERCY have the illest voices in hiphop!!!
Lord have mercy flipmode is the squidaud!
Yahmook BenYah this guy knows his shit
An RBX rock/metal album??? Man I hope to hear that because his voice fits so well in that genre!!
One of the MAIN REASONS I'd listen to that Chronic album TODAY! One of the Dopest voices in HipHop History.... (MCA of the Beastie Boys, The D.O.C, Slick Rick etc) . Damn good to see he's in good health and spirits. RBX represented "Stand up MAN" to me. ALWAYYYYZ Big RESPECT from myself and the REAL BROTHERS. Much success and inner Peace always,... #Bogard Stylez #St.Louis
RBX voice will blow your speakers messing around with him! lol #salute to the legend
RBX is underrated af. Dude is 4 times better than most of today’s rappers. DPG 4 Life.
A million times geeeeah!!! 😎😉 Dope flow voice n lyricz everytime!!!!
Dope interview....Rbx was one of my favorite artists on Deathrow...His verses were so animated... I always wondered why he disappeared.
Yesss that's the word i was looking for... animated
Been waiting on this interview...RBX
"Dr. Dre do you remember you was broke and the whole rap industry thought you was a joke?"
This dude had bars. The song with RBX, Bushwick Bill, and Rage was the shit!!!
Stranded On Death Row... #1K
Bad Azz Was my lil homie before it all back on pch and coronado ave it was so much fun back then RIP lil Homie..👏🏿🙏🏿🍷
The interviewer is asking all of the right questions.
Thank you to everyone involved! RBX is a living legend!
Me and my brothers always wondered what happened to this brother. He was harder than Snoop for real for real!!! Stay up BIG HOMIE!!!
RBX impersonation of Suga free was spot on lol that was a good story
Snoop an suge too
Both RBX & Ice Cube went to college & both refused to sign a contract until their lawyers looked over it. By not signing, they were able to walk
🔥 interview here West Coast legend here great interview salute to RBX Remember me classic verse as well as the Chronic Album and salute Mob James the whole Digital Soap box /Gangster Chronicles peace.
randy hazzard much love fam. Thx for the support
X was definitely instrumental in making The Chronic a successes. Influenced the rap style of that time. Alot of cats started sounding him with that dark, hardcore,Vincent Price vocal style
Dam! this was a good ass interview. that X- files album one of best hip hop albums of all time.
This shit is game changing and I'm only 19 minutes in . It's crazy how you live through this shit but we never really know the back stories to how it all came together . I rather listen this type of content then today's hip hip . Shout out Cole and K Dot .
This is the best RBX interview I've seen so far
You asked the RIGHT questions
💯
With treachery my literary form will blast
And totally surpass the norm
Not a storm, plural, make it many storms
While I'm vexed...
Baddest verse on The Chronic
He has such a unique and dope writing style and delivery. Nobody would think of saying 'not a storm, plural, make it many storms'. But the way he deliver it was so cold. He was supposed to be the voice of God on snoops song "murder was the case". But he wasn't feeling doing that so Daz did it. Damn I wish he did it tho. Would've sounded even better.
I would love to talk to him alone...that voice in my right ear...ooooowwwweeeee I love the way that felt!!!
Need RBX on Gangster Chronicles next also!!
He was an inspiration to us L.A. hood boogers
My dad's people is from McComb & Summit visited once.... never again!✌
Homie wasn’t giving up that foot action position. I don’t blame you RBX.
RBX is one of my fav. MCs.timeless.
The Legendary RBX
Checking-In From St. Louis.
RBX was one of my favourites on the Chronic & his solo album was Fire 🔥 I still listen to some of that Shit to this day 💯.. First interview I've seen with him. SALUTE 🎯
RBX is a GOAT and have that signature voice plus he got something to say ya dig... Two Fingers....
This channel needs to be changed to MONETIZED Soap Box Network... More commercials than a TV show.
My people from Starkville, I know full well about that red dirt. Any thing will grow in that shit. I planted bud out there in the 80s that shit still growing wild today.
Big Boss I bet that's some good weed
@@rottenandremixedrecords my grand pops got 100 acres of land and I took them seeds on purpose cause my pops always told me how that red mud will grow anything. Shit my aunt grow poppies in that shit for her bread she use to make, got sick as dog and high as shit tasting the sap. Was there last year and was shocked the bud was still growing my uncle for years had to keep cutting it down until the animal's stated eat it he said they was to high to run and it made it better for him to kill em, good shit he was to old for all that running. I smoke some the last time I was there ,good ass skunk. The floods didn't hit where the weed was so my fam still smoking it.
i ran into this dude 1 day at autozone on long beach blvd and burnett .didn't know who he was until he started talking.then i seen the tattoo (RBX) on his arm. LB OG !

THE CHRONIC wouldnt be what it is without him!!!
My G puttin it down... Legendary narratator RBX...
Ripp tha game bloody is a very underrated album, as are the two before it but that shocked me how well done the 3rd was... Dude needs to put out some lost tapes/unreleased albums there has to be a bunch of songs he made in all those years in the 90s
It seem the same thing Suge called out P-Diddy(Puffy) on, Suge ended up doing the same thing.
Great Video.... Thx For The Upload
RBX Yeeessssssss
The Malloof story is legendary
R b to the mother!@#$%&$ X. This guy shoulda blew up back in 92,93
Suge fucked up death row even starting in 94. We could've got rage album in 94 and then rbx in 95 maybe. But Suge went over dre and wanted above the rim soundtrack and murder was the case soundtrack in 94. Then his antics made rbx leave around then too. As much as I love Doggystyle, I think I would've liked rage and rbxs albums produced by dre even more! Smh
HIGHPOWERED!
Yo Randall Cunningham is currently my Pastor in Las Vegas💯
Wassup Eric (MC RBX). Your Boy from Poly that we had Homeroom with Mr. Gilliam and we would talk about Hip Hop the whole time. Or where you and JD (DJ Grand Wizard) would be performing at when you used to DJ.
