Their friendly sparring and it's not charging, deliberately directed to the antlers only, non-harming. I'm glad you harmlessly approach them. Actually, the only place I can get that close to admire God's creation in His wildlife deer is at a petting zoo. Love them!!!✝❤🌸🌈🐎🌷🌹🌸 Thanks for sharing this beautiful and encouraging video❤
I love how they actually stopped for a minute when they realized you were watching them fight. It's like two kids caught doing something bad and being all like 'what, we aren't doing anything, nothing to see here'. XD
I have been following you, off and on, for a few years. I am pleased that you are continuing hosting the deer in your yard, and in your life. It takes a lot to build that trust. Thank you for the videos. Jon
@freaky Friday a dog is not a deer! And in most states prohibit any veterinary care period!!! I live in WV where there isnt even any rehabilitation allowd for them, if i hadnt stepped in when she was born she would have suffered a horrible death so she was able to enjoy a few months of happiness. Luckily i found an awesome vet who risked his license because he cared.
@freaky Friday bye Felicia lol. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about, just someone who wants to argue!! Either that or you're very young. You seem bored maybe you should do some research on the internet about West Virginia state laws on whitetail deer!! I won't give you any more my time hun.
@@inharmonywithearth9982 exactly!! Its a damn SHAME!! Unfortunately when I had rescued her I wasn't aware that it wv there was no wildlife rehabilatators for white tail deer, and NO vet wanted anything to do with her. I called DNR first, thats when i was told to put her back and let her die, or i was going to get fined but i wanted to give her a chance. I had her for 7 months , she barely grew and was not able to walk anymore, she grew depressed. I ment well by her and devoted all of my time untill she couldnt fight anymore. I was so lucky to find a MD vet who risked losing his license, came to my home and humanely euthanize her, it was so peaceful but still very hard, but it was a lot better then having DNR come, stressfully ripping her out of my home, taking her outside and shooting her in the head. Most of us mean well when we're trying to help but next time I think I will let nature take its course instead of me intervening. She was a beautiful amazing animal.
I love your page - i said it once, i'll say it again, should there be a heaven this is how i imagine it would be. At one with nature in every sense, a spiritual symbiosis travelling to every extremity. On my page you can see i shared a bond with the red stags in Richmond, UK. Very easy to see how Animism first flourished whilst spending time with them!
Thanks for watching! They really don't like sudden movements or strange sounds, so when we are around them we are very deliberate in what we do. They also don't feel comfortable when you look at them, unless they know you. It's kind of strange, but if they are laying around the yard, we can walk right by them, inches away, without them even moving or getting up as long as we don't give some signal that we are interested in them, like staring at them. It takes time, but after days and days of them being used to your routines, they feel more and more comfortable.
Thx for the info. There’s a nearby town from where I live that has many deer walking around neighborhoods that are close to a golf course. I drive there on some occasions to watch them(sometimes taking videos) and generally I keep my distance even from up close as well as well as keeping still or moving slowly and quietly knowing they can be a bit shy. In other areas, they usually prefer being around a forest.
You know, when having that many deer in your yard, some will try to assert dominance. Or, it can be a form of play for younger bucks when their antlers begin to come in and they start to scrape.
I'm glad Interactions like this still exist. ♡ it's rare.
How beautiful nature is when we take the time to appreciate it. Thank you for sharing your little world with us. Love from Australia.

@freaky Friday she couldn't walk any more and would never be able to again, not really the kind of life for a deer.

Who noticed the bunny watching the fight? :D
Loving the content of your channel! We have deer come to our yard occasionally but we also have a dog that likes to bark at them.
