Loving the June underwater theme. I love the font for the titles. I love how simple & functional your layouts are. My favorite spreads/pages from this set-up are the cover page, the calendar spread, habit tracker, & the mood tracker. Thank you for sharing your creativity & video.
This was the pick me up I needed! I love how you decorated this theme and I may have to try it. I am all for the more chatty videos instead of the voiceovers. Not that I dislike the voiceover videos, I just like the chatty videos more 😊 Also, if you pick the journal winner before you fill it in, you could always ask them what they’d rather have.
That's what kinda happened with this one, haha 😝 I drew the winner before I'd set up the months, so they essentially got to have input into the themes I did 💪💜

Love this theme! As for the voice-overs vs live videos, my short attention span generally doesn't make it through the longer live journal sessions. But I will keep watching your videos no matter what, as I love your work. I'd prob just fast forward through the longer stuff. Also, please teach us how to sketch a crab. I feel like this cover page just needs an added crab
To answer the questions you posed in the video (and just my opinions):
I would be in for a 12-hour live, both as a live and as a nice video to have and be able to throw on for background when I'm setting up my own journal (which takes me hours!). It's nice to have some longer videos for those sessions so I'm not trying to find a new video every 10 minutes!
I like both the chatty videos and the voiceovers. I think your voiceovers are great, especially for specific videos like the How Does One Even series or the videos where you're giving a bunch of different examples of, or ideas for, different things (like the tip-ins video or the monthly layout ideas video). There it's really nice to have the voiceovers because your thoughts are always collected and well-organized so the information you're presenting is really clear and comprehensive. Outside of those types of videos, I have been really enjoying the chattier videos you've been putting out lately.
I also like the giveaway journal being in black and white. I think when you asked on a live or premiere, my initial reaction was "Team Color" because I really like your colorful setups. However, I do see the advantage of someone being able to use a color palette they like to help customize the journal and make it their own. I think the other nice thing about the B&W giveaway setups is that they are a little simpler and a nice contrast to your other setup videos (your bujo, Vogel's bujo, Rachel's bujo) that are all usually quite colorful. The B&W setups are good examples for anyone who wants to do a setup that's still decorative, but quicker and simpler if they are short on time or maybe don't have a large stationary collection, etc. It's really nice to see some videos where the setups are still fun, but the supplies are fairly basic and minimal.

Would certainly keep voice overing for my “how to” type videos, I like having those be to the point 👏
I would definitely be up for a longer video such as a 12hr livestream. I probably couldn’t join you live, since I’m in the UK, but would most certainly watch it later. Perhaps you could intersperse it with pomodoro breaks? I use a lot of such “study with me” videos when I’m WFH (most of the time) as they stop me from getting distracted. I’d probably watch it multiple times!
Mood trackers are quite valuable for people with mental illness! It can make people more mindful so they notice what triggers them, if medicine is causing mood shifts (like you said), if you're less likely to do certain habits when you feel a certain way, etc. I don't have a mood tracker in my physical bujo but I have one on an app on my phone so I can easily access it when talking to my therapist. :)

Thanks Tristin! I’m glad that the more non-edited style is working for people 😄 it certainly saves me time, and almost feels like I’m being kinder to myself by being more “accepting” of the way I normally talk if that makes sense 😛💜
My 2 cents: a. I like the black and white giveaway journal so the winner can customize it. b. I prefer your recorded videos rather than the livestreams. I have the utmost respect for your font of ideas and your skills in creating them so quickly and simply.

I had planned for an under the sea theme (focusing on traveling turtles and sea horses), but that would make 3 months in a row of us thinking alike. It's crazy 🤯🤯🤯
But, now I am thinking I should change June to Swans (in the "Trumpet of the Swan" style) and put the under the sea theme in July. I may borrow your sea weeds since I like how simple they look.

I will have to get an armoured wrist brace for the stream or something like that 😂 there would for sure need to be breaks! Haha
You could gift the colours with the journal (I.e a 12 pkt of markers so you can change the colour palette each month but all within the same pack)

Hi Jess! Missed it again,I swear I just checked an hour ago! oh well! That font would look good with a feather or dream catcher theme. I would watch a replay that long, maybe not all in one sitting. Looks like you went back to monthly habit trackers, I am liking mine as a weekly still, but it doesn't easily give me a good overview of what I got done. For my mood tracker I pick things that have multiple sections so I can color in for different moods throughout the day. Like I am doing fireflies next month and I found a coloring page with the segments of the firefly differentiated with lines. Should work. Thanks for the fun video again! Hi Jess! I got a Leuchtturm for my first bullet journal, thinking it would have lovely sturdy paper because I heard so many other fountain pen users rave about them. Well I didn't even use my fountain pens in it, just ballpoint, and the ghosting is unbelievable. Could you do a compare/contrast of some of your favorite notebooks?

Thanks for the feedback Rita! 😄💜 I think one of the main reasons that I don’t typically do the same themes for the giveaway journal as mine is that I want to do themes that are fairly popular or have a wider appeal, and I want to be able to use the setup footage as an additional theme idea video for you guys 😄💜 can totally see the benefit of just having it be the same as mine though!
Love this theme because I may just be able to pull it off! Love love love all your videos dear Jashii, but I rarely have time to watch your livestreams so prefer the voiceover for that reason. Do you do matching daily pages in these journals? Just curious

Hi Elizabeth! The layout that was set up in this video was filmed back in December for the journal we gave away that month 😄 So the journal had setups for Jan - Jun 2022 which we've been releasing as plan with me videos over the last 6ish months 😊 The next giveaway journal I'm yet to start/giveaway 😝
