Turtle Wax has been around before I started driving (1984) and when I see them still holding it down after all these years it shows their commitment to excellence..I will always purchase their products, because unlike some other companies they provide value and quality at the same time.Ive seen a lot of car products/ companies come and go.Theres a reason TW is still around.

Recently I let a buddy of mine use my shop and he did some painting but got some extremely light overspray on my Black Jetta and white F150... (he wasnt supposed to be painting in my shop).... well... I came back a few days later and saw the overspray on my car and truck and almost went mental but then I thought "I wonder if the TW Black and TW Ice had enough protection to resist the overspray"... well I can tel you IT DID.. I went at it with TW ICE on both and bizam! Off the overspray wiped as easy as pie! I also do my glasss with it so it all came off there too! Cost me just 4 micro-fibre towels and everything was back to normal, my blood pressure included... I don't suggest others rely on this for this level of protection but i was AMAZED at how the overspray basically just wiped off. And yeah.. his access code has been deleted from my entry alarm system... no more unsupervised folk in my shop anymore...

The Turtle Wax Jet Black seems strong. I'm left wondering if it could be used as a base and then topped with the superior Turtle Wax Ice SEAL N SHINE to achieve a good fill on my 19-year-old black Miata with the long-lasting shine of the Ice Spray N Seal product.

Awesome video bro, I used turtle wax silver paste wax to hide my scratches and swirls on my truck then topped it with Meguiars Fast Finish for durability. This was until I could book my vehicle in for a good paint correction with a good friend who is an auto detailer. He could barely see the scratches and swirls as I had applied multiple coats of the turtle wax silver liquid wax and it was very good too be complemented for a clean and 'scratch free' car..

I use the turtle wax black detail spray along with the ice after. I must say i love both of those products. on the other hand i tried the seal and shine and i don't like it at all. Turtle wax makes some good products for the price range. Thanks for doing these reviews on products that don''t cost an arm and a leg. I will never pay 60 bucks for a tiny bottle of F11 or some of those other over priced products.

FYI, in my opinion, turtle wax is still considered mid to expensive in my country. it costs about 300.000 rupiah, or about 20 US dollars (determined on the valuation).

I'd like to try to using this as a filler then wipe on black pigmented graphene (e.g. 303) to see if it can act as a more durable topper. Could work well for my brother's black car where I can't be arsed to polish it to glass and ceramic coat.

Hi Jim just mixed 25% bead maker with 75% Maguires x-press synthetic spray wax. I want the no cure time of Maguires and the gloss of bead maker. Tried it on one quarter panel and back lid deck over truck. When I do the whole cart and it’s been on there a week or two I’ll let you know how it turns out OK.

A bit of a random question though, not detail/car related, but detail hair related, haha! What hair product do you use? Very dapper!
    Cheers!

Hi Jimbo I have a really good match up for your cheap vs expensive. And there’s a huge difference in price.
Liquid X ceramic spray it’s 35.99 on amazon for 16oz I think that’s kind of ridiculous. Although I really would like to try it. But only if it goes on sale I’m not paying those prices. Against of course turtle wax seal and shine. I don’t think I have to say anything about the price. But would you consider this matchup I think it would be a really good one Jim.

The Turtle Wax seal n shine is hands down the best product ever.....I use it as a drying agent when I wash a vehicle, car, truck or motorcycle. After spraying of the soap I spray on the TW and wipe dry with micro-fiber. Nothing else looks better or works better. Easily available and to use. Badass product, try it out.
