Beautiful story very well-documented visually and verbally. This is the kind of story we need now in the midst of all the term well going on in the world. To music or nationalities can come together and feel good. What's that music hits you you feel no pain. Thank you for this feel-good story, in this time of summer sadness.
This looks like a great film, at least for Gerdies fans like me. I heard a lot of wonderful folk music and blues thanks to your dad. Only complaint I ever heard was from the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem one of which said they stopped playing there because the sound system was so poor. The club was so small you really didn't need a sound system. Many happy memories.
Is it still in process or is it done. You should come visit callicoon and look through some of Jack's memorabelia if not. That Folk City baseball team shot, I took. I have a few others of folks in the team shirt... Good timing for a show on folk and the village.
