they fought hard though, gotta give credit where credit is due
they kept it close first two maps until overpass honestly i think they lost steam on the last map, not to take away from Team Spirit though, their entire team is solid as hell, zont1x is a crazy good anchor, magixx always manages to get 1 for 2 somehow, Sh1ro is a top tier awper capable of putting numbers against any team, Ch0pper and their coach called good games and of course Donk is Donk, the future is sky high for this team and their players.

3:11 it seems Ropz had a very plausible chance at winning this, I'm not sure why he just gave up like that by jumping in... he had a very solid weapon for that situation (MP9 in a close quarter combat)
at that level either shiro would kill ropz or chopper would trade if he hadnt jumped. even though an mp9 is ideal, you cant forget that your opponents can also aim too.
MP9 has better jumping accuracy than running
A second or two before this clip, ropz shot a bullet and gave away his positioning. Couldn't tell if he thought he saw the planter, or it was a desk pop. But he had to speed up the 1v2 because he gave away his positioning

One of the most dominant tournament performances we've seen from a team in a minute. The beat Faze convincingly not once but twice. They dropped 1 map all tournament. If Spirit are able to play like this on a regular basis then they are going to have an era. Donk is absolutely farming the best players in the world right now, while Shiro is just incredibly clutch. Hell when Zont1x is your THIRD best player you are absolutely cracked.

@z0rden_ my brother in christ the only people who full rush every single round without info are silvers. You have almost 2 minutes in each round. Thats why pros run "defaults" to get info and wait for their opponents to make mistakes and burn their utility early. If you rush a site instantly every round, you are running into 2+ players with potentially full sets of utility and setting up crossfires. If you somehow manage to get bomb down, their teammates will have a much easier time against your team of half health idiots who don't know how to play a post plant. Especially if you have no nades and your opponents have full nade sets.

I hate how much Donk yells between rounds, I think its just straight unprofessional, but its hard to say he's not cracked out of his fuckin' mind rn. He's just playing like a random in a pug and its working. He's getting in the enemy team's head and he's winning it like that. All's fair in the game man. He's also a kid, it's hard to tell a kid to not pop off and scream when they're excited unlike the rest of us boomers that have been with the game for 10+ years.
Sir, I understand its a "profession" to him and other players, but I think its better to look at it as a sport. People beef and rile up in basically every sport. It also adds excitement and emotion. It would be less intense and exciting to watch if all the players were stonecold emotionally (on a sidenote, most pro players scream and react on stage as well, along with most regular gamers). I also heavily disagree about the screaming "getting in the enemies head." These are veterans they are playing, some screaming won't affect them as much as Donk rushing mid and getting a triple kill every other round... Your opinion is definitely fine to have, but reacting and being human is much more fun (I understand this is a generational thing as well).

@@pinefilms3141 Yeah, people at top level of sports or esports are expected to act in a certain way and to hold themselves in a certain way. Those that don't are deemed "unprofessional" or "unsportsmanlike". I have nothing against the kid, I think he's a good player and is having fun, what I dislike is just how much he yells. Other pros like Karrigan boast and play the crowd as well but he isn't just screaming and yelling constantly.
@@matthew4077 It's probably just a generational thing. "Kids these days" and all. I was big into esports in the early days of CS (mid 2000s) and it's just a very different scene now.
People would still shit talk but during the game it was entirely "focus on the game", like how boxing would be with having pre-game face-offs with the contestants riling each other up. During the game though it's all about the fight, not about who yells louder or gets more attention.
I have nothing but respect for the kid to be able to play at such a high level, its just me being old and hating how much kids yell these days.
First time at an S tier lan event and hes 17 years old playing in the GRAND FINAL of one of the most prestigious tournaments in all of Counter-Strike. He should be yelling. He just obliterated one of the best teams in the entire game all on his own
