this video is very good! My family all has season passes and we can only go on weekends when it’s very busy so I’m considering asking my dad to buy us some cause my brother rides everything and I’ll ride stuff that isn’t too tall and doesn’t go upside cause I have anxiety. I’m subscribing and this video is very underrated
We are taking the kids there this weekend. First family vacation for us. I haven't been to KI in 20 years so I cannot wait. Believe it or not the last time I was there I got to ride Son of Beast. A lot has changed there since then.
@@TroutTakesThemeParkAdventures Ha ha it can have that effect lol. It sucks I wasn't able to get there before they closed Vortex though. That was an underrated old school Arrow looper. I am going to try to get back to Cedar Point next month. It's been four years and I need to get my Steel Vengeance on lol.
Hey man just stumbled across this vid and your production quality is fantastic! Your commentary is great too! Defs going to check out your other vids! :D *Subscribed~
Glad it was helpful! Kings Island did change the system a bit for 2023 just FYI. They simplified everything and got rid of the “Fast Lane Plus” option, so now it’s just one all-encompassing “Fast Lane”.
@@TroutTakesThemeParkAdventures hilariously, I didn’t buy my Fast Lane. My parents did, as a birthday gift. Still was 80 bucks, but I still view it as worth it. Got 18 years of pent up interest in riding coasters lol
I took my trip there yesterday and I managed to ride 12 coasters altogether, with doubles on Backlot Stunt Coaster, Flight of Fear, Orion and Banshee! Fast Lane was definitely worth it!
👍 Yes if I’m understanding the question correctly. If you’re talking about (for example) buying a park ticket in advance and then waiting to purchase Fast Lane the day of your park visit then yes you can definitely do that 😀
I think you'd be fine without Fast Lane. You can always just wait and see how the crowds are once you're in the park and make a decision from there if it ends up being slammed.
Kings island announced that all attractions in the park will now be on regular fast lane. Kings island, Kings dominion got rid of the Fast lane plus system.
@@williamryan6794 my sister and I are going to buy the fastlane this year, we bought fastlane plus last year so I wonder what the difference is going to be.
Ive been trying to figure this out all day/night, If you have fast pass but your friend doesnt, do you have to wait in the long line with your friend, or can you both use your fast pass?
Unless they change it down the road your friend unfortunately cannot use your fast lane, only you can. So you either can wait with your friend in the standard line or you can split off and likely get multiple rides by yourself using fast lane while your friend waits in the standard line. They’d probably get a little upset with you for doing that but it’s an option. Best scenario ultimately would be if your friend also got fast lane.
Fast lane is so dumb. It punishes people that can't afford it by making them wait longer. I hate parks for using it. I understand single rider lines because that fills empty seats, but fast lane needs to go.
I understand why they did it but I tend to agree in the sense that it wasn't a thing while I was growing up. At least from when I've visited Kings Island or Carowinds there doesn't seem to be anywhere close to the amount of ppl using it compared to Cedar Point.
@@TroutTakesThemeParkAdventures look, I'm pretty well off but out of principle I won't buy fast lanes. Even giving the option is disgusting. I miss when fast lanes were free at places like Disney. It was a way to move crowds around and give everyone an even playing field. Now it's all greed.
Completely disagree. It's a revenue stream and an enhancement for guests. If a couple hundred bucks is the difference of a great time or an average time spend the money. If you can't odds are your dollars should be spent elsewhere in your life.
I purchased a season fast lane plus this year 2022, & I loved it.. I'll never go without it again...
Right there with you, once you get spoiled it’s tough thinking about going back to normal lines. Such a game-changer!
7:12 That in the back of the train looked both scared and confused, like his friends forced him to go on it 😂
So is the fast lane unlimited?
This is the best video I’ve seen for is FLP worth it. I always get it when I go somewhere like a big Cedar Fair park
Thanks for the kind words! Hoping it will at least help people make an informed decision 🤞

Hey thanks for watching and the kind words!!! If you do end up getting it, Fast Lane Plus will definitely be super helpful on the weekends especially.

You guys will have a blast! I had never visited the park before this year but after a handful of visits it’s now become my favorite over Cedar Point.

Hey thanks for the kind words and checking out the channel! It's great to hear that the hard work is appreciated!
I can’t thank you enough for this video. I am going to KI on May 22 and I wanted an information point on fast lane plus.

Sounds like a great day!
Do you know if you can buy a regular admission ticket then add the fast lane plus pass at a later date?

Fast lane plus SHINES on holidays like the 4th of July. It's like having a golden ticket.
Going there middle of week after next Tues thru thurs. Monitoring the cams I may not need FP. Let me know

They didn't lower the price though, so there will likely be even less people using the system this year.

I refuse to go to any theme park anymore without Fast Lane. I'd rather go once with Fast Lane than 5 times without it.

Who uses Bandicam in 2022, use OBS instead, also your video is very informative.
