At the very bottom of the most difficult time in my life, losing my ability to walk, talk, read and write, not understanding people's conversations, having no understanding of my surroundings because of a stroke, I heard the most beautiful words spoken "I will never leave you or forsake you" and for that very thing I have seen and heard the beauty of christ without seeing, without hearing, without touching. Those years I fought to live again and in the ashes of my surroundings, the loss of church friends who so quickly left, the brokenness of loneliness; everything was in the dust and ashes of life and God brought something profoundly beautiful out of that trial. He brought healing, a depth of faith and courage found only in suffering and with such things God has challenged me and now I'm doing artwork, poetry, photography, digital art, public speaking and even martial arts demonstrations...

Brooke is an extremely gifted singer. She can sing anything and shouldn't be limited to Christian genre only. So those of you who find it difficult to understand her also singing secular music, why not? When you're that good at something you desire to expand your abilities. I'm sure she honors God in her life even if she's singing about other types of things. We shouldn't pigeon hole her. Creative people can't be limited or stifled.

It hasnt been an easy journey but Jesus has always been there. Read, study and let God breath his word on you. The bible is awesome and 100% true. Great song, amazing lyrics, love it! Proud to have Brooke (a Kiwi, represent! lol) being used so powerfully by GOD.
Also, just pointing out, Colossians 1:26 isn't speaking specifically of the Messiah, but the church. JESUS wasn't hidden from ages and generations, He is all through the OT. It's the church that Paul is speaking of, as explained in Ephesians 3: 5 - 6 :)
The church is the bride of the Messiah though and all things point to Him so can't go too wrong with Him at the centre, just clearing up what the writer was describing :)

The first time I heard this song I fell in love with it immediately because it is so true. indeed the name of Jesus is beautiful, it is wonderful and oh it is powerful. the bible says there is no other name that has been given by which men shall be saved. in the name of Jesus, believers can command anything and it will be. I'm a worship leader too.. and I'm humbled by the life Brooke Fraser. Because of the talents God gave us, the beautiful voice ; sometimes people notice us more than our worship leading. If we worship leaders don't focus on Jesus we will end up searching fame. I heard Brooke singing secular songs, and it sounds less to me. But every time she sings songs of worship , I can hear HOPE.
This inspires me to sing songs that will only glorify God. FAME is meaningless. I cannot imagine myself singing about that things which God hates. This Is my faith, may the Lord Jesus guide me and help me. I belong to Jesus, forever and ever! My voice belongs to JESUS!
