I’ve only recently gotten into Star Wars and I’ve already bought the 2006 DVDs, the ones with the theatrical versions. I remember when I was 6, I liked C-3PO and r2d2, but I had never seen the movies yet until I saw them recently in cinemas. My local cinema was showing the orignal trilogy on their IMAX-like screens. Best experience of my life.
It's funny in a way. It seems like those who hadn't seen Star Wars when those Special Editions were released in theaters just plunged into Star Wars deeper than those of us who had seen it before then. I think it was timing. By then stuff like the Super Star Wars games (or the NES ones) as well as many of the PC games were dirt cheap and easy to find. I had Star Wars on VHS in the 80s and grew up watching it that way, but seeing them on the big screen the way it was meant to be seen was mind blowing, but I didn't know about any video games except what was in arcades. I didn't know about the NES games and while I knew of the Super Star Wars games, and had see one at a friend's house, I had a Sega Genesis. As for PC my family didn't get one until 95-96 so I knew nothing of those games and had no reason to look for any. It's kind of ironic that all that passed me by yet for someone like yourself it was the perfect time.
Never even knew this game existed, it looks kinda fun. Too bad no company wants to try their hand at a new super star wars, that would be pretty great!
Largely this feels like a good alternative if you don't want to deal with the SNES series of games. I beat one of those and it honestly feels like a fever dream. The addition of force moves feels like a great idea and way more fun, plus that sprite looks super solid! shame they don't have that good light saber feel. Fantastic work here. I may need to check this out!
1:28, as if Console Wars didn't hurt you enough, eh Mouse man?! 2:14, I'm guessing Goku from Dragonball Super Friends as well as Cell and Friends along with the 2 console dudes I mentioned messed him up real well, eh? 7:10, 'imitates Mickey in a sarcastic way' ua-cam.com/video/qe0mHB6kEu0/v-deo.htmlsi=Uy3m6HMszoE0ON_r&t=291 12:45, Minnie never loved you and went out with Dan from Console Wars. 17:08, NO! DO IT! This will avenge Cell and the rest of his guys in that DevilArtemis show! 18:46, he's getting away! STOP HIM! Will there be a future review of TMNT 2 for GBA and TMNT 3 for DS? Those games really need some highlighting and since you're a Ninja Turtle, you might be surprised by their quality.
I've played 2 but not 3. Both GBA TMNT games based on the 2003 series are indeed great! If I was to cover any TMNT game it would probably be Danger of the Ooze from the 2012 series.
lol yeah they definitely would have done better just attempting to pull a SNES and recreate within the limits (Lego star wars sounded great!), instead of whatever they did to the sound. Then again, you've seen what bioware did with Sonic Brotherhood...wow
At first glance I thought the gameplay was leaning a little too close to Megaman Zero (a dash ability, lightsaber and the "buzz-saw jump of death"), but then I remembered that oh yeah- Luke actually made those jump-attacks first in the Super Star Wars-games. Really wish they'd re-release those... Anyway! This game seems ambitious and with a lot of facets to it... just not as polished as it could have been. Here's to hoping the mouse pays you for your high-effort and very emotionally convincing advertisements... but we shall have to see where that goes for ya.
You are criminally under viewed. Your content is way better than those at similar sub levels. You put real passion into these videos.

Hmm, looks like a pretty decent game. I was a big Star Wars fan up until I was about 18 years old, I'm sure I would've enjoyed this.

"Why are there bees on the death star?"
"Those are death star bees."
Multiplayer is a 1v1 space battle with classic Star Wars ships.

@@Dongled That'd be great.
For more obvious script reads 🤣 Mike, this is why you’ve been my favorite for 10 years
