A Golden Thread Proves The Holy Bible

Welcome back to another video everyone! This video is called the Golden Thread because as you will see there is a very specific message that exists throughout the entire bible. That message is this: Although we are all fallen and evil sinners by our own choice, God has intervened and provided a way for us to be with him. The only way to get rid of our sin is through the shedding of blood. This is why animal sacrifices were necessary in the Old Testament. The first sacrifice ever made was by God himself when he made clothes for Adam and Eve to cover up their sin. A foreshadowing of God's plan. God judged the world for its evil in the flood and the only way to salvation was through the door in the Ark. Jesus is the door, the only way to salvation. God tested Abraham telling him to give up his only son as a sacrifice for the remission of sins, right before he would have taken his son's life God stopped him. It is God who has sacrificed His only Son in our place so that His blood can cleanse all sin for all time. When The Pharoh of Egypt refused to let God's people go, the last plague put on the ruler and country was the death of the first born of every living creature in the land. This was God's judgement. Only the blood of the lamb let God's judgement pass over the people who followed God. Likewise, Jesus is the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. When Jonah refused to go to Nenavah he took a ship going in the opposite direction. Gods judgement came down on the ship and it was about to be destroyed. But Jonah sacrificed himself by convincing the other men to throw him overboard, sparing them from God’s judgement. Jonah was in the belly of the fish for 3 days and nights just like Jesus and preached repentance to the people in the city. When Radshack, Meshack, and Abendago were thrown into the furnace of fire the fourth man was Jesus himself protecting them long before he ever became a physical man.
The strange thing in all this is, The Bible is made of 66 books written over 1,500 years by 40 different authors most of which lived in completely different periods of history with different world events going on. Yet, despite all this, the bible tells this coherent story of God saving man and tells the story of Jesus before he ever walks the Earth. The Bible is the truest thing you will ever read, it is God's word.
