This video was really helpful Dr. Festus. I'm currently modelling climate suitability for rice cultivation in Nigeria using MAXENT (thesis). And this video came through for me after watching a lot of videos that begins from the MAXENT SOFTWARE without showing us the process of data preparation. THANK YOU DR.

Thank you for your sharing, I have some questions, if I need to predict the potential distribution under the climate impact, Should I using the warming annual temperture replace the current temperture to run the maxent ? thank you
Hello Dr.Festus, I would like to ask if the Maxent model reports the following error: Warning: Sample at 109.73, 20.8 in Species_gis_gbif.csv is outside the bounding box of environmental data, skipping; And every species distribution point is like this the same error, how do I solve it? Thank you very much
Oh, thank you so much, Dr.Festus. I can confirm that from a geographical perspective, all species distribution points are located within the scope of the environment layer, but Maxent still gave that warning, I would like to ask you to unify all the environment layers under the same coordinate system, is it the same geographical coordinate system or the same projection coordinate system@@dr.festus354
one of the best tutorial for maxent modeling thank you sir
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you very much and look forward to watching the section with QGIS
Thank you very much for the great tutorial! I wonder if there is any plan to do this using QGIS?
Thank you for your lecture. Can you please make a short video on how to find TSS value through Maxent?
Great video sir
Thanks
@@dr.festus354can you tell me how to properly make a species occurence csv file?

Yes, you can use the annual temperature data
Thanks
Welcome
Too good. Could you please share the pdf notes?
thank you so much! can i ask where can you get the bioclim tif data?
You can get it from worldclim.com

Pls recheck all the coordinates of the species occurrence data to be sure they are within the same geographical boundary and rerun the analysis
