Faster don’t mean better! Drive them both and then you will experience the Porsche difference. Porsche overall dynamics are amazing! You and the car feel like one. Owner of a tuned 2015 Macan S. Drove the Merc first. Bought the Porsche.
Merc is much faster but the Macan literally drives and feels like a sports car. Macan for me despite the obvious straight line speed difference.

The Macan is more than raw numbers. It’s so good, so visceral, so connected to you in all that it does. That you don’t care what anyone else is driving or how much faster of slower it is compared to your Macan. You don’t desire to own any other SUV.
I own a 2015 Macan S with a stage 2 sports tune. My dyno is 412hp, 439 lbs. torque from the stock V6 twin turbocharged engine. 0-60 is about 4.3 seconds in chrono sport plus mode. Top end is a guess of 167 mph.
And let me tell you. Feels exceptionally fast, and sticky in the turns from the drivers seat!

Decisive Mercedes wins in a straight line. But the Porsche is leagues better in dynamics, it seems to recover much more gracefully from that oversteer.

I don't understand the comparison of 2 cars where one has a V8 and one has a V6, i mean that makes a 70hp and 100nm difference. Like what do you expect? Of course the GLC is faster.
If you want a fair comparison compare the Macan to the GLC 43. That's V6 vs. V6. And there the Porsche wins.

@Ethan Pae yea macan won 1 part and lost the rest in this video. I like them both. you're using facts and so am I. Macan will handle better. it's lighter with a smaller engine and comes with a great chasis. Honestly both great cars. No point bashing others.
