I use electric stove, with 1-9 heat levels, at which be best to sear it with for 2 min each side? After searing do you let it rest for a bit or put right into heated oven?
hey dear! yes indeed it's super important, that's why i added it in the video description: 1. Baste your meat with some oil 2. Season with salt & pepper 3. Sear each sides for 2 minutes 4. Roast in the oven for 15mn at 180C 5. Cover it and let it rest for 15mn. ❤ Merry Christmas !
@@zikokitchen5126also I got a tajima Wagyu MB6+ Tomahawk at around 1.60kg (I work in a meat distribution company in Sydney). Is it fine doing the same steps u do?
Absolutely! Basting your meat with truffle butter will add a rich, earthy flavor that’s both luxurious and delicious. It’s a fantastic way to elevate your dish. Just be sure to baste towards the end of cooking to prevent the butter from burning. Enjoy your gourmet creation! 🍖🍄✨
That sounds like an incredible cut of meat-Tajima Wagyu MB6+ is top-notch quality! 😍 Given the high marbling and rich flavor of that Wagyu, following the same steps should work wonderfully. However, since it’s such a premium cut, here are a few extra tips to ensure you get the best result: 1. **Bring to Room Temperature:** Let the Tomahawk sit out for about an hour to come to room temperature before cooking. This ensures even cooking. 2. **Season Simply:** With such a high-quality cut, a simple seasoning of salt and pepper will let the natural flavors shine. 3. **Reverse Sear Method:** Consider using the reverse sear method-cook it low and slow in the oven first, then finish with a hot sear in a pan or on the grill. This method helps to evenly cook the thick cut and develop a beautiful crust. 4. **Resting:** After cooking, let the meat rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat. Enjoy that amazing Wagyu-it’s going to be a showstopper! 🥩🔥
I love this video, it’s one of the simplest ways online cooking just let me know how to get Tomahawks done in 2 minutes 🎉🎉I only need cooking during festive time maybe once or twice a year, all the other UA-cam videos are so complicated and lengthy to me!

Haha, I get it! Sometimes things don’t turn out as expected. I’ll make sure to give it another go and get it right this time. Thanks for the honesty! 😅

Do not listen to these potato's. If they had a brain they would just leave it in longer for medium rare or cremated.
Grow a brain and just leave it in longer if it is not cooked enough for you.
Mmmmmmmm
wasnt even cooked through.
