Wolf King GT First Impressions and Ride Footage

- My first ride on the Wolf King GT. Purchased from Voro Motors in November 2021. Still have much to get used to on this scooter, especially the acceleration and top speed.

I bought a wolf king GT pro from voro motors about a week and a half ago. I even paid 400 more to have it shipped next day air I wanted it that quickly. I was worried that this scooter would not be able to handle my weight and size. I am 6 foot 4 and weigh 277 pounds. I was so sure it would only hit about 50 with me on it because of my weight. Well I was way wrong. Not only have I hit 60 mph I have taken this thing all the way to 63.3 mph when I had it on dual motor level 5 on a semi down hill road. This thing is unreal. I even attached one of those bike carriages you see kids ride in to the the back of this and had my 90 pound 9 year old and 40 pound 4 year old riding around with me with me on uphill at 40 mph. This thing is insane. If you are a big man and worried that this scooter won’t have the power for you don’t be the slightest worried. I can assure you it does indeed have enough power to get you to that 60mph mark. It has so much torque the wheels squeal when you hit the throttle and if your not careful it can almost pop a wheelie. The only down side of this scooter is the brakes and range. The brakes get worn down pretty quickly and the range depending on how you ride this thing fluctuates greatly. I can get about 24-30 miles driving aggressively on this which is anywhere between 40-60 mph the entire time. And if you are on a long stretch of road trying to keep the throttle fully open expect the speed control to heat up quickly and your battery life to take a huge hit. This scooter is in fact awesome and worth every penny but the electric vehicle game still has its draw backs. Anyhow just thought id voice my review for anyone who was a big person that was hesitant about buying one.
What bike carriage do you use? Is there a custom attachment for it to work with the lower wheel of the scooter compared to a bike?

Long time ago when the first super bikes came out, a young guy in our area got one blasted around people activing his handling of his new bike. You could tell by the sound of the bike that hat he had mastered it! He knew every curve, bank, bump and carving line to go as fast as possible. Nobody complained as he was as a guy being a guy: Then his luck ran out.
Holloween night a Dad was out with his 4yr old daughter. Dad was trying to control their dog, also excited to be out. The little girl got away from her dad as toddlers do and ran out in her he was pad just as the super bike guy came around a bend in the road: he had blasted a through that same curve 1,000 times, knew by muscle memory, and never thought he would kill a kid doing it and go to jail for manslaughter! True story, horrible to witness, many lives ruined, and yes, every one of us could be that guy.

the very reason i traded my nami burn e viper (60mph/100 mile range version) for this scooter (wolf king gt pro)
i love the sign wave controllers, big battery, and self healing/self sealing tires (non liquid seal)
and the high speed stability is great!
even more stable than my dualtron thunder, and dualtron storm up, both with steering stabilizers added. still not even close to as stable as the wolf king gt pro.
i’m waiting for the wolf king gtr to come out but wish it would come out soon! i mean, i hope voro motors in panorama city, california stocks the new wolf king gtr soon, removable battery, adjustable front and rear suspension, and upgraded rear suspension.
i like the thumb throttle, it definitely took time to get use to, but i prefer the thumb throttle now. there is also another style/type of thumb throttle that some people refer to as an up down, thumb throttle, which i also like even more than this type/style thumb throttle.
I couldn't stand the thumb throttle tbh I had to swap it with a finger, I liked the throttle on my wolf warrior 11 better
if you cant see tilt the screen you can adjust the display on different angle..

How's the scooter holding up now that it's been a bit since this video? Do you love it or hate it? I'm about to buy one so I'm curious 🤔
To be honest I haven't had time to ride it much between work and school. I've clocked about 110 miles so far, and it's been a lot of fun. Still not used to the acceleration compared to the WW11 though

it can beep once for spedemode I, twice for sm II and none for walkmode

The power, speed, and acceleration is on a whole new level compared to the WW11. I don't even know how to describe it lol

So I was debating whether or not I should keep it for another year and then upgrade but from all I am seeing/hearing about the GT it does sound like I should jump on that sooner rather than later lol 😆 Ride safe and thank you for the reply!

Looking to get one in Spring. I didn’t watch entire video but you didn’t seem too impressed. Which is interesting since all other videos are in love with it. So I’m curious n hoping the scooter is in fact incredible. Just sucks that content is limited in Winter.
Lol maybe I didn't seem too impressed because I'm used to the wolf warrior 11. When I got that scooter I was much more excited 😂
@@scooterninja3479 I hear ya, wasn’t an insane jump like some other people may have gone thru. I just love the stability/safety of it as well as the longer stem and wider handlebars. I wanted Sine Wave controllers so that it’s not a jerk your neck back situation. Smoother ride
It's likely that it's thermal rollback, it sounds like it. Your BMS could do it, your controllers can do it, or your motors if it has thermal sensors. I upped my pack voltage from 52v to 72 to eliminate controller thermal rollback, but recently discovered my controller experiences it too and it'll decide to limit the maximum current output. It's not a bad thing, but your display should tell you, your temps.
How do you change the pack voltage?
@@scooterninja3479 Change the battery pack entirely, either by building a new pack or buying a new pack at a higher voltage. Although not sure what controller in your scooter supports voltage wise.
@@scooterninja3479 I've just noticed your message I'm in the UK and Amazon US doesn't have them i could research an alternative option for you. What's up with your scooter I've noticed the acceleration isn't what it should be ? Do you want my settings off of my controller.
@@scooterninja3479 Also what's that whistling noise it is it airflow or is your back brake catching the disk and causing friction. When you pull your brake and the indicator comes on is that the same one that's coming on when your scooters slowing down ? If your brake is catching it could be causing the motor to work harder than it should and causing it to overheat, your disk could be bent check it out.
@@fang64 Your scooter is 72v have you got it set at stock voltage which is 52 if i remeber rightly. 72v 50ah x2 at stock its lower.

@@Fizzglg I bought my Horizon from fluid in 2020. They have excellent customer service, better than voro in my opinion. I only got the wolf from voro because it was $200 less and there was also no tax charged
