Y'all work so hard... I love seeing your success. To many people, myself included, want to make it the easy way. It's a great reminder that you can do anything you want, you just have to work hard at it!
I used to buy pallets from Logistics in Lincoln at 500 a pallet. now they are around 800 or more and once everyone knew about the pallets being so available to the public, facebook market got way over saturated which killed our business real fast. The 800 dollars was for the same junk that we were paying 500 for. I sell cosmetics now on poshmark and do much better without hardly any damaged items.
@@JAMIEANDSARAH yeah I get my cosmetics from wholesale ninja. they have tons of different brands of makeup, amazon clothing, and household goods and much more that are brand new, retail ready. hardly any items are broke, unlike the pallets where I had to literally throw away almost half a pallet every time which was constantly filling up my garbage canister. which meant money thrown down the drain. I now I can sell Almay foundation for 20 bucks a bottle and cost of product is 2.10 a piece. I sell dozens of them over and over on Poshmark. Hundreds of women buy Comsetics and beauty items every single day. They have so much on their website it can get overwhelming.
I auction where you are auctioning and I have found that several of the items are not as advertised, missing parts and pieces, or just plain broken. I don't pay the monthly fee so I am limited to bring 1 item back every 60 days. Unless it it blatantly misrepresented. I have been dealing with them almost since they started and talk to the owner every now and then. My problem is online auction entertainment every week. I have made money though, but it is getting tougher due to more bidders every week.
I have recently bought from whatnot larger items and they had shipped it ups, not usps and postage was reasonable. Idk how he did it, he tried to explain it during the show as it was a major selling point. So, it is possible to use ups.
I'm in phoenix and I purchased things from a public auction for pennies and sell them on marketplace... Big problem is most everything that I bring home is broken and needs to be returned.I would say about eighty percent of what I bring home... So it's definitely a lot more work to get some good things and still makes a profit. It's just really disheartening because the deal you think you're getting ends up being a pain in the butt. Thankfully, they allow returns, but they just put the item back up for sale without listing. What's wrong with it and then someone else buys it.. I think they're making a lot of money in the fees associated with the sale and hoping people don't return stuff.
I love your videos! You inspired us to get a pallet last October, but then my Facebook account was hacked. Everything was fine, but they wanted to review my marketplace and it said it would take up to 24 hours. Now it's been months and meta has no support options. Any suggestions? We love marketplace and its been stressful not having that as a choice.
