Music is supposed to unite. Throw aside all hatred and all matters of politics, spread love and stop evil. To learn not to mix politics with music. Eden the champion 🇮🇱💪🏆
There is no way Norway is last in Italy - that's how I know they are lying. No way these are the real results.
Also, have you heard about Joost drama during the rehearsals?
Whats going on with support for Italy, I thought it was the favourite?
No way Italy didn't appreciate the Norwegian epic entry, the whole thing is fishy.
You were exactly right about spiteful and/or sympathetic vote, just as you're spot on regarding the jury. Totally understand why you want the season to be over. Can't understand fellow Israelis who insist on taking part in this type of shitstorm, let alone hosting. Besides, the hussle and cost are beyond imagination
I don't think it's just a "pity vote" for Israel. Politics aside, I think there are many people who also just connect to the emotional appeal of the song. I think this is also a reason why many people don't connect to it - I think emotionality often polarizes because people react to it differently. I personally also found the whole performance to be on a very high artistic level. From a conceptual viewpoint on the performance, I thought Ireland and Israel really exceeded. It makes me sad that the possibility that the televotes might favour Israel (and only might - Italy is just one country, and if they have to choose between contestants from the first semifinal and Israel, Israel might not even be so much favoured) might influence the jury. I thought they were paid to judge the entries from a professoinal point of view? BTW, there are historical links between Italy and Albania, and there are many Albanians living in Italy, which might explain why Albania ranked high in the televotes.
Eden is amazing!!! Best vocalist in Eurovision!❤🎉
There is a big Albanian and Georgia diaspora in Italy
What about the childish high school bully-like behavior of the Dutch and Greek singers while Eden Golan was answering journalists' questions?
In Italy very few people follow Eurovision and even less vote. So those votes are not representative if Italian tastes.
Henrik, this was chocking. However, the most chocking to me is Italy's song. They have used a lot of the "Jag vill tacka livet, som har gitt meg så mycket" sung by Arja Saijonmaa. (Written by Violeta Parra) Are there new rules in ESC?
Italy is by far the most successful country in ESC (even though Sweden are claiming to be that country-they are not)
So they can appreciate such a big talent and great vocalist like Eden.
Especially when she gets so much hate, makes the silent majority wanna vote for her.
Israel❤
I live in Italy, so I would say that the big vote for Israel (if the data is correct) is because she has a ballad and Italians love ballads as we know. We also gave Israel 12 points last year too so it's nothing new. Albania I can understand higher votes for diaspora. Anyway I don't think the semi finals are so important here in Italy so the televote is not the whole Italian population and I think it is voting of older people, young Italians are not so interested in Eurovision. Now why they showed the results and didn't make the same mistake in the first semi-final is interesting...........
And maybe the explanation is simpler than you think, maybe the song is just good! and that's it! Vote for her on Saturday, she is number 06, help her spread love, not hate!
@@Cersei27 sorry but I prefer other songs.
Vote for Croatia so politics can't win this year again! 🇭🇷💪
I don't believe this leak was accidental - Italy is a very politicized country and maybe someone wanted to send a controversial message....the data are credible since there is a large community of Jews (or Italians with Jews' roots) not only in Italy but all over Europe. Then the current climate in Gaza played a part...(these voters are very determinate).
In most European countries, the Jewish population is tiny - less than 1% of the total population.
There are barely any Jews left in Italy. Last century there were 9 million Jews in Europe, today there is only 1 million left in the whole continent.
@@UnC23 probably you are referring to the registered jews as foreigners living in Europe - but in truth there are many registered italian and european citizens with jews parents/ancestors with links to Israel and jews culture.
@@miruschkac7880 again...I think you are talking about proper registered Jews' citizens living in Italy - I'm talking about Italians with Italian names and ways of life (and catholic too) who would call themselves Italians (rightly so) who have also some past links with Jews ancestors.
Blood doesn't disappear overnight - it's liquid and moves around for centuries (I put it in poetry for you).
In general, from Italian discussions related to Eurovision, I don't see all this interest for Israel's entry - yes, it was a good performance and some appreciation is justified but not at that level which is in my view mostly political.
@@stefanogortaldi3156 Thank you for the poetry, I appreciate it!
