Best video of the boats at Braunston that i have seen this year. Particularly liked the snots of William . I first met the boat going down to Stratford in 1964
Thankyou, William certainly is one of a kind owned and operated as a camping boat by some friends of ours, i was lucky enough to get a trip around the parade on it.
I guess that’s what you might call “a day out in Brighton “ I enjoy seeing all the different liveries and knowing some of the previous companies.Just the job😊
Great video, thank you. I love the sound of a Bolinder, but doubt whether I could live with it! One day I will make to the historic weekend, perhaps with my 'historic' mini pair. I first visited Braunston in 1966 when I was 6 years old and Blue Line were operating from the dock and Willow Wren below bottom lock with washing lines strung above the holds. The place had a very special atmosphere which has changed over the years, but has not been lost. Thank you again for recording and sharing it.
Not sure as to why you would say this, not possible to film all the boats, was tied next to Nutfield and Raymond last weekend and had a nice social with the crew.
Loved that, thank you 😀
Thankyou glad you enjoyed 👍

The stubby exhaust chimney really changes the sound of the engine.
Makes a difference
@@StarCraftsontheCanal I was wondering if you sold flags? Would a chandler have them? I’m looking for county flags, like Devon or Gloucestershire.

I guess you aren’t a big fan of Nutfield (and Raymond) , pity. Nice video nonetheless . I loved the day and it was good to re-live it!
