Thank you, I really appreciate your videos!
I will be sure to do that! Awesome! 💗
“I feel the energy of the Earth.” ❤️ Beautifully poetic, Kuga-san! And I’m sure you *did* 😁!
I wasn’t surprised that the boat turned out to be very fast in open water 🙂. I knew it had to have a lot of power just to be able to “keep station” in the whirlpools, and when it first approached the dock I could see that the pilot was handling it like it was a ski-boat. Impressive!
Another great entry in your series of videos showing the seas around Japan! So many wonderful seashores, and things like these whirlpools - even that forbidding view from the northern tip of Hokkaido in Winter has a certain austere beauty to it 🙂! 🌊
But … I can’t wait until Winter returns 😁! Japan in heavy snow is absolutely magical 🌨!
Been there 3 times, in 2004 with my mother, 2013 with my godson and 2017 alone. Absolutely awesome, and some of the best udon, seafood and daigaku imo I've ever had (at the little shop in front of the bus stop). Thank you Kuga San for reviving those great memories.
Who else was disappointed that Godzilla did not rise from the whirlpool?
I loved this video! It was so different from the train rides but it was great. I am loving Japan more and more with each of your videos.
ありがとうございました!
You're really really a blessed guy. That's another destination on my wishlist in Japan. And now i know how to visit. Thank you very much.
And Kuga saw the Naruto's Uzumaki Sorry, I can't resist LOL
That must have been such an exhillarating experience! Thanks for sharing. ❤
Very Impressive, we have something similar here in the U.K under the Menai Bridge in North Wales, though not as powerful as shown in your video. In addition, we have a phenomenon called the Severn Bore which is best described as a mini tsunami that at certain times during the year runs down the River Severn and people surf on top of it.
Wow, what a cool and unique experience! Kuga, thank you for going on this trip and showing us what it looked and felt like! :D
What a wonderful sight to see. I have never seen a whirlpool up close like that. God Bless Kuga and be well.
I've seen the whirlpool from the bridge, beautiful site. Not sure if I really want to be that close, has any boats ever sunk there?
Many in the old days
Depends on the suction force and the ship design and also if you got the engine power to get away.
@@SMGJohn not a big threat to boats or ships, those rocks are lot more dangerous. However if you were to swim in those waters be different matter. Only suction vortexes are truly dangerous, those are very rare.
I find your videos very interesting and relaxing to watch. Thank you!
Japan has whirlpools and Godzilla what a awesome country
Another video, another masterpiece. Thank you so much for bringing us Japan to home !
So, there are Naruto Whirlpools, but what about Sasuke or Sakura Whirlpools? Just asking as a brother of Naruto manga fan.
Amazing! Do you know anything about that three-masted ship? Kind of an unexpected thing to see in that situation...
Thank you for the upload! 😃👏
I found your vlogs a few months ago and I really, really, enjoy them. In the US- We don't usually get to travel by ferry or train and I am pretty sure we don't have capsule hotels. Getting to kind of experience those things through your videos has been wonderful.
日本にも春が来たようでよかったです。あなたの雪の映像は素晴らしかったですが、私は寒すぎて始めてしまいました。
Amazing mother nature!!! These whirlpools remind me of the Niagara river. It has a lot of whirlpools as well.
Oh wow! Another place in Japan that I must see. Thank you for sharing this with us. (:
You captured that beautifully. Could easily see the height difference of the incoming tide. Awesome power. Thank you.
There is something similar in Canada, east coast but not as spectacular or magestic!
That was exciting! Thanks for taking us along 🙂
I'd want to break out the Dramamine before I got on board that boat, lest I spend most of the trip with the dry heaves.
I've just today seen drone shots of this place. Thinking the whirlpools of Bodø, Norway were huge, these are gigantic!!!
so beautiful, i would really like to see that amazimg view in person. thank you for sharing this experience with us.🤗
The whirlpools were wonderful to see particularly with a backdrop of such gorgeous weather. Absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for another wonderf video, keep up the great work
I'm going to become Japan's biggest whirlpool! Believe it!
I'm glad you've left snowy Hokkaido for warmer regions! I really enjoy your videos. BTW are you on Zelle?
Thank you!
I would like to see how the wirls created under water 😳🤩
Quite impressive!
You don’t seem to go home very often. Always on the move, are you?
What a gorgeous day! Perfect for seeing the whirlpools.
Oh my goodness- what an experience! Hope you had your seasick pills beforehand. Thanks so much for sharing!
That's NUTS to purposefully drive into those whirlpools!! I'm guessing that you had to sign some sort of waiver that you or your family wouldn't sue them if you got hurt or killed!!
New sub here fabulous variation on the usual travel theme! Wonderful camera work! I also enjoy the train and sea travel very much!!
The sight is beautiful, reminds me of the computer generated maelstrom battle in Pirates of the Caribbean 3 fight scene- there was a whirlpool then😅. This one is real. I hope to experience it 1 day too.
Been there. Unfortunately the whirlpools were a bit weak that day/time. Still a very impressive location.
There seems to be a castle nearby that somehow doesn't get notice in most guides. Didn't have time to go there unfortunately.
The prison camps at Bandou are also pretty close and very interesting.
Just looked it up. Seems to be the TorideNaruto -Castle style community hall. No wonder it wasn't in any guide. Still looked interesting from a distance and came out of the blue.
Wow! That's cool as hell! You fall overboard there and it's over! 🙂
I saw it when driving over the bridge, but it's much more impressive close up. Thanks for the video!
Amazing Video Kuga, thank you! 👍👌🙋
What a scary adventure! Thanks for sharing!!
Well, if somebody wants to take me to those places... 😁🤍
You are much braver than me, I do not like rough water. Great video though! 😀
Mother Nature is an amazing thing.
Wow....I hope you took some seasickness pills !😆
Interesting design at 4:00...what's with the mini sail on the motorboat?
Edit: And speaking of interesting designs in this day and age... 5:16.
Edit2: Oh...looks like the same ship that shows up at 7:15. Looked like something much older in the distance shot. Still, both sails and motor...
You take us to wonderful places. I tried to see one in Norway but the tides were wrong. Thank you.
amazing sight!!!!!!!
I am just curious though, is the black ship a tourist ship as well?
That looked like so much fun 😁
Like watching your channel because you have such good English translation
Wow! Spectacular! Thank you for an exciting close-up look at this phenomenon of nature. Your camerawork is great!
Thanks for the lovely video! Was it scary? Did u feel seasick after that?
It makes one wonder how the engineers contended with the whirlpools whilst the bridge was being built. Surely it was more dangerous than usual for those constructing the bridge.
When I was living in Kyoto I always wanted to go this, but never had the time. It is still on my list when I get back.
Wow that’s crazy. Bit scary thinking about falling off the boat
Absolultelly superb! The power of the ocean both excites and frightens me. To put it into your words: Arigato, Kugasan!
how long was the boat ride trip? 30minutes or 10minutes?
The was awesome to see. It reminded me of the little boat at Niagra Falls. It takes you really close to the base of the falls.
This is the coolest but scariest thing! Each video feels like I'm there enjoying everything with you. So thankful to you for posting these wonderful videos!
I wonder were these whirlpools a potential ship navigation hazard.
Not really. For small sailing vessels way back when, maybe. These whirlpools only look violent, but don't have enough strength to actually do anything.
Kuga, would you know by chance or thru printed info how many there are under/near that bridge?
I love your channel Kuga, thank you.
David
That was absolutely amazing!! Just loved it!! Thank you so much for giving us the gift of your videos ♥️♥️♥️
I wonder if that's where the Whirlpool washing machine got it's name ..lol. What a truly magnificent sight of natural wonders. You've had an awesome experience riding on top of them i'll bet. If I ever have the chance that is definitely on my bucket list. Thanks for sharing the experience. Bushyboy Oz.
I won't step on the glass, let alone jumping on it. Kuga San you are one brave person. 😂
Great video!... Thank you for sharing
Great video! How exciting to see those whirlpools form! And am glad you are going to visit Shikoku. The mountains on that island are just beautiful, judging from the videos I've seen. Am looking forward to your impression of the island.
Thank you for the upload! I've always wanted to see the whirlpools upclose.
I don't know if I would be able to resist doing the Naruto run at least once, if I went there ...
i live in canada near Niagara falls. I have never gone on one of their whilpool rides before, but i think i will! so cool! thanks for the great vid!
Thank you for sharing the whirlpool video❤️
Love to learn new things, especially about one of my favorite Manga / Anime. Thank you.
Is that why Tokushima soccer team is called "Tokushima VORTIS"?
are the boat safe? i mean people on boat fences to not fall?
Wow! Thank you Kuga, I loved going there to the whirlpools that was great.
Dang,, that's a serious tidal current
Hi Kuga, enjoyed it (as always), ありがとう 🙏👍🤪
Thanks, Stephan!👍
Great video
There is no way on this planet that I will ever go on that boat! 😂
After so many snow videos, it's almost a shock to see such spring weather 🙃. Seriously, great video 👍
I'd rather take the boat than go on the bridge, just watching the video gave me vertigo!
2:23 Made me laugh that people actually need to be warned. 😳💦
is that Naruto Uzumaki? bro, he went into water 💀
I never seen anything like that….. thank You👍
It looks interesting, I would like to go there, but I think I will go there until the pandemic ends
Did all the passengers wear life jacket?
Looks like a good place for cute black cats❤️
There are similar whirlpools in Washington State, USA. You can only view them from afar, although some crazy kayakers run them. Great video.
Where are you from?
...good stuff.
Uzumaki Naruto
Uzumaki means whirlpools
Naruto = Naruto city in Japan.
What an amazing experience! Thank you for taking us along!
Nice and funny video ☺️ Thank you 😊
It’s like a amusement park ride! Kuga never fails to entertain 💯
"Rasen shuriken"
I guess you need HM06 to get though there XD
Cowards like me stay on land! 🤪
This made my day thank you
