As soon as I saw the water. I thought cetus and k+ bead. Mines, the same crystal clear. 4k gallons can't fault it, and it is easy to clean. Few valves and a cup of coffee, job done😂. Nice pond, BTW.
I need someone to help me with my pond, never had water in, don't want to make anymore mistakes and just want it all plumbing in and filtration setup. How do I go about it
In Japan, "CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER" is described as immature water that lacks purification ability and is therefore unsuitable for KOI keeping. As a result, the language tends to describe pond water as supreme, which is viscous and mature while maintaining transparency.
@@TimWaddington The difference between pale water or rich water is also difficult to translate respectively. In any case, the water, which in Japanese is called like special grade sake, it sparkles and like a flicker of stars thanks to aerobic bacteria while at the same time the surface of the KOI's body become covered with TSUYA and TERI (as the mucous membrane increases).
@@TimWaddington I guess if you use cartridge and granular filters to the point of removing all beneficial trace elements then I guess you can. But as much as you like first stage mechanical and good aerobic biological filtration will not do that.
Can’t fault that water quality, exceptional small pond looks fantastic 👍
what a great pond... its great too see you don't always need a big pond to enjoy this hobby... water looks amazing
Lovely Tim,Thanks for sharing.
Brilliant job, neat and tidy. Clarity so good they look as though they are flying. Great work.
Beautiful pond , superb.
Just shows you regards space . Really nice 👌
Lovely pond that is, love the window 👍

That's how I want my water to be when it's finally finished mate 🤣

A great system
Lazy bugger 😅
Love that pond. As you say, shows what you can do with a small space. 👍🏼
It’s still more than double my current pond if you get a look at mine Tim. 😂
What kind of seal use for ponds glass window ? Acid sealant is suitable ?
Lovely pond ,what would be the average running costs of a pond like this
Not crazy. Would imagine £5 a week ish
nice pond I kind of like how small it is
Suits the space
@@TimWaddington yes it’s lovely
I have a question about bottom drains. Due to gravity. How do you stop the pond completely draining out if the power goes out 😮 ??
The drain goes into the filter, and the filter level is the same as the pond so it’s impossible
@@TimWaddington oh I see. So the filter was lower that's when you'd have an issue?
@@justinstuart8382 yes, water will always find its level so if the filter is lower it would just over flow
@@TimWaddington I get you there. I'm going to set one up soon so thanks for your input. Obviously the filter can be higher then but never lower. 👍

How do I go about it
Call the shop on Tuesday
Fish tank clarity👍, is that a block built pond or one of those 1500 gal tanks?
Block 👍
For a pond that size all in £10000 or am I way off the mark?
Yeah something around that I would think.

I’ll tell the pond owner to knock it down!

Tim, you can’t ‘over filter’ a koi pond.
Not sure about that.
