If it was a phone/telex repeater station then there would've been rack frames on each side of that large room, with possibly overhead cable trays joining them. In from one direction on one side and out to the other direction on the other. Or could've been wireline combiner/multiplexer hub, depending on location feeding multiple lines from that location into a single main trunkline going back to larger exchange.
we have one over here in Australia that i have herd about from a few people and its meant to be over 20 levels it even has its own full size power plant
The Paraffin that was living there obviously enjoyed his Special Brew - a foul concoction, apparently made by Carlsberg especially for Sir Winston Churchill, who liked the 'wine-like' taste. Eurgh. Nice brickwork in that entrance shaft, by the way. Thousands of people must drive past both entrances each day, and not notice them.
cool find. you guys seriously need to take a climbing class or at the very least get some climbing gear. it'll make getting into certain places like this one or that place in what as it? that was flooded Germany? i was in boy scout and i try to always be prepared for things if possible.just trying to be helpful mates :) bbtw its summer are yall going back to that bunker to see if its no longer flooded?
Looks like quonsett huts were used ad concrete forms. Hmm tyey must have had an outer form. It seems more likely they would have used outer forms as supplies werw probably rarer than hog's teeth.
Did I laugh.... when you were just hanging over the hole and you said... jesus folks.... that is the wrong way you have to go up to find jesus, a dark hole going down is the devil folks. That was a fair old bunker you found, was this a bunker used in case the German army landed in England and soldiers stayed inside until they got orders to attack a certain place. Great video chaps. Great work from the best. Hi from Liverpool. ...

Chris Fletcher Cool, that sounds interesting.
Is the bunker in the UK?
Quite impressive. This bunker is much larger down in there than I would have imagined. Cool video guys!

So don't forget to pm me Ian if you do some exploring up this way. My Lockpicking skills could have had you walk right out of there easy.
Another WW2 bunker, love to know what this was used for, that hole wasn't that deep but awkward still intact due to the spray on the walls and stuff.
Any ideas on the quilted panels?
You guys need one of telescopic ladders on Amazon
Crazy bunker guys looks like an apocalypse campsite XD

Gents you seriously need to invest in a retractable ladder.. look them up..
Not much protection in that bunker. Maybe good only as a fall-back location, in the case of invasion.

Wanted to see how Chris got out. Was it gracefull?
You guys better get yourselves some respirators. Asbestos is no joke.
