In this bumper episode of The Shooting Show, we join Geoff Garrod as he shoots pigeons over autumn drilled wheat. The mixed conditions and light wind make for good shooting as Geoff builds a bag of woodies and jackdaw.
Then Mark Ripley tests the Pulsar Talion thermal riflescope. Armed with his semi-auto .22 and Pulsar Merger binos he heads off the golf course to knock over a few rabbits - and has an eye on a fox.
Finally, Richard Saunders brings an update from the world of airgunning. He heads out to tackle some problem squirrels, hitting them as they raid his feeders.

As some one just getting into Air guns who really enjoyed the air gun show I whole heartedly agree.
Why was it dropped? I thought it got the views which seems to be what anyone does anything for these days.

I was Squirrel shooting a few days ago. A big male Squirrel was on the feeder with a cock pheasant underneath picking up the bits of peanuts the Squirrel dropped. I witnessed the Squirrel jump from the feeder straight onto the pheasant and proceeded to chase the fleeing pheasant off aggressively. So much for harmless cute Grey Squirrels as the snowflakes would have it (tell that to the woodland songbirds). The big male Squirrel is now in my freezer joining the queue to go in the slow cooker. Good to see the air gun bit of the shooting show my favourite section sorry it is not a separate section as before BUT if that is the way, it will be from now on better than no air rifle shooting. Thank you Richard.
That'll teach him! They really are a menace to all sorts of indigenous wildlife, not just red squirrels (and pheasant!). Thanks for watching.
