He looked so good here. This was about a year after his facelift, which made him look his age. He had looked SO much older prior to 1988 or so -- see his interview with Merv Griffin in 1982 -- due to his years of alcoholism, which he overcame in 1979. A true legend.

He has always been my favorite dancer. It made it look so easy an d natural.
My favorite dancer out of the entire bunch during that time. So multi talented. He really looked good.

I really love Des O Connor, but I think he was a wee bit thoughtless here, when he keeps indicating to Donald to go for it.... He doesn't seem to understand basic human biology.. If it is 39 years after you did an AMAZING take, for a Hollywood Movie,.... Unless you've followed a STRICTLY vegan diet, and lived off Avocado's Pecan Nuts, taken all if your vitamins etc etc, then the bones will be more delicate, ths lung capacity will be diminished, and you simply just CANNOT be expected to be able to suddenly be a time bubble and take everyone back 39 years.. 😂
However it is amazing to see this amazing individual interviewed nevertheless.
