Really like how they presented themselves! Especially Cipriani explaining his thought process
put 15 guys with Lions jerseys on the field and Steyn would not have missed any

Would be interesting seeing Morné and Chris Patterson up against one another here. They’ve got the longest kicking streaks without missing respectively
Hayden Parker (a kiwi who plays in japan) once made like 38 kicks in row, missed one, and then went on another streak of like 38 or 39.

I think Neil Jenkins had a streak in the 40s back in the early 2000s. He was an unbelievable kicker.
Can't help but feel that Danny was handicapped by the English weather conditions

The wind definitely helped Danny for those kicks in line with the posts where up in the highveld this time of the year hardly a breath of wind. Both fantastic players 👌
he's handicapped by the fact he's not a very good goalkicker... like not top 20 in the Premiership let along world.
Hayden Parker needs to be considered for this I feel, he has excellent kicking stats

PLEASE do a "longest place-kick" challenge with Frans Steyn vs literally anyone else.
Do it at altitude(Bloemfontein) and we might just see some outrageously long kicks being landed. He is probably going to retire soon, let's get it filmed before he leaves the sport.

4 Teams from Europe are currently in SA for the URC. Their best kickers can surely meet up with Frans in Bloem or Pretoria after their matches this weekend for a bit of fun. 🤞

Annnnnnnd....the wind wins....! I realise it's just a bit of fun, but at least an attempt to make the conditions and variables similar would have made this more reasonable. In addition: as Morne said, whoever came up with some of the kicking positions for the challenge must have been enjoying smoking some goooood sh..... ;)

Banana kicks doesn't really favor Steyn's style of kicking. He has no soccer background. However, switched on Cipriani is worldclass but comes across as too temperamental.

This is a false test - they need to bring in BMT. So, here's my suggestion: Bring a guy with a chain saw in. Before the kicks start, cut somebody's leg off, just to show that you mean business. Then whoever loses, gets his leg cut off. BMT.

This challenge proves absolutely nothing, because Danny had wind on an open field. Morné had zero wind on Loftus.

Castelo:-....I sat next to Morné Steyn at a music festival with about a dozen other celebrity sportsmen. He was the only one that did not get irritated with kids wanting his autograph or shaking his hand. He is a gentleman through and through, unlike the yobs that give you a hard on.

Morne has been apart of 2 British and Irish lions series and won in both making him the player to win the most series in the modern era
Morne Steyn has three super rugby trophies, Under 21 world cup, French Top 14 title, a tri nations and two British & Irish lions series to his name, an 88% career kicking accuracy and holds the record for most points scored in a single Tri nations game, 31 points.... against New Zealand. Over rated?
