Atlantic is, objectively, just a perfect song. The composition, the production, everything. There isn't a second of this song that isn't maticulously, and perfectly, crafted.
My first listen to this album was on release just after midnight, in my dark bedroom with a set of headphones. It was superb. Cannot wait for the new album
hell yes this is my favourite Sleep Token track!!! I love it so so so much, I listen to it daily. Another reactor described this songs progression as "sad, to sad with purpose, to fighting back/action" and I can't help but agree. I love the way this song builds, starting with piano and his vocals, then adding that water sound and changing up the piano chords, then the distortion and layering on the voice, then bam... that DROP and in comes the "wall of noise" and this song that was previously so intimate and small becomes HUGE. It's my opinion that nobody's doing it like Sleep Token. Some people might be doing similar stuff, but honestly no one is doing it like them or as well. Worship.
I find myself coming back to this song the most. It’s got a melancholic sound to it and I was just in a postpartum state and this song just was one of many that helped me through it. Such a beautiful song. ❤
