TFO Axiom II X I Best Fly Rod for the Money?

The Axiom II X is the newest flagship rod from the great folks at TFO. This rod was designed for two things, accuracy and distance. This rod blends a double helix of kevlar (just like the original Axiom and Axiom II) with a carbon fiber matrix. This makes the rod very stout, while still allowing for incredible accuracy. There are many fast action rods out there that will push line into the wind. However, there aren't many that will do that accurately. The few that will, cost you at least twice as much as this rod. Backed with the best warranty in the business, this rod is an excellent choice for the advanced fly angler. Is it the best fly rod for the money?

How does 5WT perform in river trout fishing? Can it throw terrestrials and eventually a dry fly?

Sure, a 5 wt can handle most dry flies. You will have a hard time throwing larger flies like for bass fishing. But, trout fishinf you will be good to go. With the Axiom 2x being a fast rod it isn't ideal for laying down delicate presentations.

Kevlar self-abrades and is not the best in sunlight .

Interesting, didn't know that. I haven't had any issues or negative effects from sunlight. None broken either.
