Cissy, when I was a child I used to watch you on the Lawrence Welk Show every week with my Grandmother. You and Bobby were my favorite part of the show. I wanted to dance just like you when I grew up and wear all the pretty clothes. I really did love to dance and wish I would have had training. When my Grandmother visited the show, she somehow got yours and Bobby's autograph on a small card with your picture on it in your dancing costumes. I still have that card. I wish I would have been able to dance more in my life, learn ballroom and all that, but dancing in nightclubs, square dance and line dance was as far as I got. But it sure was fun. 😊 Thanks for the memories and letting me dream I was you on that floor when I was a child.
I haven't seen sissy since on the law welk show in the late 1970s I know the bittersweet story of what happened to her but thanks to you tube I get to see her latest interview wow nice to see her again thanks sissy you were great!!
Sissy was always my favorite dance partner of Bobby Burgess. She was on the show the longest out of his 3 partners. Always very athletic and great dancer.

In addition to being such a great dancer, I thought she looked so intelligent.
