I love this song because my mom is a single mom. And she puts a roof over our heads and puts food on the table. We are doing fine. We are not poor. We have a loving family who cares for us. I may not have a dad, (Well, I have one they just got divorced before I was born, never got to meet my jerk of a dad, thank god!) but we are far from our hearts being empty. My mom is currently working 7 days a week and is also buying Christmas presents. My mom loves to do fun activities with us and she means the world to me. Words cannot express how grateful I am for her and my wonderful family. Many challenges we have faced are in the past. We constantly remind ourselves all that we have and how much we need to be grateful for. If something doesn't go our way, it's life. As long as we don't let it drag us down, we will be okay. We also need to be strong for our mother. All the stress is being pushed to her and she is relying on us to help her, with her having to pay and take care of everything. So, mom, I just want to say, thank you.
