- Erik Anders Lang finally picks up a full-time caddie for the trip when LPGA vet Matthew Galloway joins the crew. Matthew caddies for Michelle Wie, and with Wiezy on the bench at the time with an injury, Matt decides to loop a few holes in Scotland.
Erik's bag is significantly lighter than a tour pro's - so the guys set off for 36 holes around Murcar Links and Cruden Bay. Aberdeenshire is home to a number of great golf clubs, and these two are great examples of what Scottish links golf has to offer.
Also: Two locals join the guys for a game of golf, Erik receives a thoughtful Scottish gift, and fellow UA-camr Peter Finch finds his way up to Scotland.

Both fantastic courses. Liked Crudeness Bay so much, went back a couple of years later. Drove up from Montrose. Shows how much we liked it, as that is a long drive!

Scotland is home of Golf because of the variation in weather there e.g. You can tee-off in 90 degrees of sunshine at the first and then be frozen to death in snow,at the second!

This is definitely my least favourite links course in Scotland, with its narrow twisting fairways and postage-stamp greens sloping off in all directions that look more like an afterthought than a pin placement. The problem is the terrain, which is perhaps better suited to a MotoCross event than a links course. If you're looking for a course that enhances your game, this isn't it. Frustration hardly describes it!
My bet is the redacted portion is all about something other than golf....
Be careful you guys start talking your own language like a couple of twins and no one else knows what you're talking about.
