More variety of NPC face models! After finishing the first game a couple of times one starts to see the same faces over and over and over again. And I know.. resource limitations in development, but maybe there will be less repetition in the sequel. Barely holding in my excitement and so happy for Warhorse.
I'm like 70 hrs in my first playthrough of KCD1. It is fucking incredible. First 10 hrs were the most stressful I've ever had with a game. At first I'd run from bandits and shoot arrows. Now I charge 4 fully plated bandits for some experience. I'll definitely do another playthrough before February.
If you asked 100 die hard KCD fans how there first 3 hours went, most will say. I quit and played another game. It took some us us thicker folk to try a second time to realize what amazing game it is.
James Turner - totally! I first played years ago, struggled mightily and quit. Returned months or years later to give it another shot and while I needed extra help from guides online, I finally made progress and fell in love with this incredible creation.
@@jamesturner4090 I never put it down but to be honest my face and eye were twitching for 2 days. Like legit spasms I was so frustrated. I take on 5 cumans now and don't even split them up.
It isn't exactly easier, you need to choose correct side for master strike now so no more spamming blocks. But it is only possible with swords now. While it seems like mace and axe will be even easier. First game is same too, with a mace it becomes easy mode and you smash everything.
I am a huge Assassin's creed fan but I had no idea AC Shadows will be released in febuary and I have to say I absolutly do not care about it. I only want to play KCD 2. The first game is one of my top 3 favourite games and I am totally hyped for part 2.
@@Bdubs-ns7nn you know you could've just looked it up instead of making me do it :p It was the subway sarin attack from 1995. It's like their most infamous terror attack
While I'm (extremely) excited to hang out with Henry and Sir Hans again, I'm probably gonna hold off the purchase - because if there's one other thing KCD1 is famous for besides its incredibly detailed world, is the various ways quests get locked up. That being said, I'm confident Warhorse will deliver - and they deserve to succeed.
There’s a recap at the start of the second game that covers stuff from the first so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem if you haven’t played 1. Would still highly recommend a play through though!
Kingdom come deliverance is the only game I have ever wanted enough to pay money for far before release. I remember donating towards the kickstarter and then at one point thinking the game wouldn't manage to come out. the first beta release was really bad, like horribly bugged and ran like dogshit. It had some really cool stuff but it was rough as hell. In the end the game actually came out and turned out to be one of my favorite games of all time. Still bugged as hell, especially when it was just released and things wouldn't work right, but it more than made up for that just by being so unique and true to history. As someone who grew up wishing I had been born back in 13th century Europe, this game was an incredible opportunity. Without all the plague, violence and poverty to worry about of course.
My concern is the combat. It kicked my ass in part 1. Simply didn't have the time in real life to learn / master the combat. Combat and the save system really turned me off on the first game. Again just real life.
The problem was nobody knew you just had to go train once and they teach you how to reposte. Once you know that combat is super easy. My first play through I struggled a lot at the beggining because I didn't know that. My friend stopped playing the game due to the combat too.
Yeah they are so confident they changed the release date to avoid Avowed lol we have to remember people to this day KCD is still a buggy broken and crashing game that you can just about get through and lead dev point blank said they won't go back to upgrade it his comment was "i think we'll just leave that alone" aka the game is on egg shells
It's weird but I never once hit a major bug or quest problem throughout my many, many hours of playing KCD1. Granted, I never bought the game until about 5/6 months after release and I didn't get the dlc's til there was a deal for all of them at once but no, no problems to really even mention other than adjusting to their save criteria which I quickly figured just meant robbing a bunch of bandits etc to earn some coin and buy the damned Saviour Schnapps in abundance. I did understand that consoles really went through the mill ('scuse pun) and maybe were never properly addressed so maybe that's what everyones' referring to? Hell, maybe I was just lucky but never a problem.
Yeah... KCD2, MHW are the only hits for Feb. CIV7 MIGHT work. I would love t see the simplified combat applied retroactively to KCD1 so finally I can do some combos. Hello games did it porting tech to the older game, why Warhorse won't? And about the attire, YES!!! Man, I loved to flip Henry from Ninja to Scholar to Knight at the first game.
I don't think the maps will be both the size of KCD1, in terms of playable area. Currently it seems that the playable area will be about 125% total of KCD1, so not that much more, but thankfully map size doesn't determine how much content there is in total
@ggoddkkiller1342 Nah this info was from an official conference with Martin Klima, we have pictures of the presentation, it really does say effectively +25%, not +125%
@@AnoAssassin I don't know ESO said 125% and there are 1.7 million words in KCD2 while KCD1 had 800 thousand so it is really over twice larger game both map and dialogue wise.

You’re referring to master strikes. if you mod out master strikes and mod in ripostes for henry (only the AI can do ripostes in vanilla), the perfect block system is good.
@@Rayn-117 Both the player and NPC can execute those and both make the system worse. For the player, just positioning and proper timing of the block makes every combat encounter trivial and for NPCs it makes any attack you do have a chance to get hit with an unblockable counter.
@ You’re misunderstanding the difference between master strikes and ripostes. Ripostes are what happens after a perfect block if you attack immediately after the block. A master strike is when you get, you could say, an even more perfect block and attack while blocking at the same time. You can go into the game and test this. A master strike will not result in a slow motion animation but a perfect block will. In theory, after a perfect block (which both Henry and the npcs can do) you should be able to do a riposte which is an attack only blockable with another perfect block, but only npcs are able to do a riposte. That is why there is a mod on the nexus called “Restore Riposte” which gives Henry the ability to do a riposte. You’ll notice it’s active because you will do the animations that the npcs do. Both Henry and the npcs can do master strikes which is what results in a “Nash Equilibrium” where the best strategy is always to never attack and wait for the other to attack. This, instead of perfect blocks and ripostes, is what breaks the combat. The game doesn’t really explain the difference well and the game also lies and says that Henry can riposte so it’s very common for people to misunderstand the system.
@ No. Henry can only do master strikes and perfect blocks. The AI can do master strikes, perfect blocks, and ripostes after perfect blocks. That’s why there is a mod on nexus called “Restore Riposte” which enables Henry to do the riposte animations the AI does after a perfect block. These animations can be blocked with another perfect block. The only unblockable melee attacks in the game are master strikes and the end of combos. Master strikes are what break combat, not perfect blocks and ripostes.
