- Ladies and gentlemen, we're happy to present to you the 13th edition of FLY VS JERK. This is the series where we put 16 of the most accomplished pike fishermen in the world to the test. 8 teams will be fighting for three days in no less than five different countries, doing everything in their power to catch as many and big pike as possible...
French, German, Russian, Polish and Swedish subtitles available.

Björn and Hank the tank have had dople troble strikes many,considering that its cold water time of the year there.The new jiggar 19 ant 22cm is nice,cause of its quit big profile.Combo including mouse and big gator curly.Thats a big fish lure.Those dutch guys have been killing it with trolling with that..Sean and hes friends.

Even though team visions pike was 10cm shorter it looked alot fatter and heavier...if it's not on the fly it doesn't count anyway lol..go team vision!

I think that with fly you really appreciate and give credit to the big fishe's pure and raw power. It looks way too easy to just turn handle and wind the fish in to the net with spinning reels and baitcasters due to grazy gearings.

Why are Team Vision in their cabin for the noon report?
Did the boat sink, equipment fail, snow storms force them off the water?
Or was it just filmed afterwards because the camera broke down?

why do team headbager always use the same bait? surely one using a jerk bait or paddle tail would be more effective?
how bout a few more teams til next year that is actually fun to watch? Where are Tobias and Dustin? Maybe invite team baitbox, hilarious guys and also fly fishermen. Team Upplev, team Abu with Tobias and Evelina, Team westin with Daniel and Jörgen or maybe a team kanalgratis with Pontus and Edvin and lastly team svartzonker with Claes and Snoken. I understand it's difficult to make this production and i don't want to be all negative, you are doing an awesome job, just a few more "funny" or entertaining guys would be top notch.
There is only one thing that beats the true joy of Team Vision. That is when Trumman compliments anyone on a dream fish during lunch reports. I mean the guy literally cries of happiness no matter who caught that big mama. You know, these are defining elements in Fly vs Jerk. Giant pikes on the fly. Pure happiness and respect for your fellow anglers. Unfortunately Trumman did not get the chance in this episode. Instead we had the (now standard?) from-nothing-to-winner report order. This make little sense, and must be really annoying for the participants. I think you lost something here.

Om man kollar runt i folks båtar så ser man att det är långt ifrån bara de som gör det. Minst hälften av lagen använder sig av livegivare. ( CWC, Headbanger, Gator, XL ) och det är fullt möjligt att ännu fler lag också gör det.
Thank god lake day was better. Always fly vs jerk 1st episode is poor, i dont know why to watch. But as it goes on it gets better, sometimes river day is better sometimes lake day.. as a lure angler i would like to see vision win as they fish hard and are there since day 1 of the start of fly versus jerk.. they deserve to win atleast once.. 12 kg pike will be hard to beat
The quality of polish subtitles in this episode is really bad. Many mistakes and some lines are in french.

I just hate when they just stare at the computer to get the fish. Back to old school. Only knowledge. Then we would see who the true master is. This is just technology. Not fishing.
Why is it that none of these guys uses a spoon? I've always had much better production with spoons than soft baits like everyone on here uses. Is it a Europe vs North America thing? Do Europeans use spoons?
I use spoons😁 and i made my own spoons too... so yes Europeans use spoons😁 but i must to say its weird why none of these guys uses a spoon especially on shallow water🤔
@@WHBL I'd highly suggest trying out doctor spoons in the 4.5" size. I'm sure they'd cost a pretty penny coming from America, but if I could only fish for pike with one lure it would be either a firetiger or UV red/white doctor spoon 4.5". They are specially shaped to run even shallower than something like a daredevil
I'd say generally it's because it's out of fashion. And it doesn't help that many of the teams fish in very cold water for the biggest specimens here where they prefer a bigger lure that can be fished slower without sinking particularly fast..?
@@borreholic7238 That sorta makes sense. One year we went way far north in Canada and the lake was still mostly covered in ice. We still did have pretty good luck with spoons (doctor spoons specifically due to the ability to fish slow and shallow as you pointed out), but on slow days we actually used a lot of jigs. We went to a shallow sand flat where we could see all the pike soaking in the sun and the only way we could get them to bite is with a maribu jig simulating a leach or something moving super slow in front of their face.
