2nd driver to attempt The Double on Memorial Day Sunday???? Correct me if I'm mistaken, but wasn't John Andretti the first driver to attempt that feat? Robby Gordon I believe also did so. Tony was the 3rd driver to do so, followed by Kurt Busch. I believe Tony had the best record total with a top 6 (I believe it was 4th at Indy) followed by a Top 5 at Charlotte. Not trying to be a know it all, just trying to help you out. Thanks.
You are right and Bush is 4th to do it. Also Andretti only driver to race NHRA,NASCAR,INDY CAR AND ROLEX 24 HRS OF DAYTONA IN SAME SEASON AND TO HAVE WON IN EACH
They said 2nd to complete it. Thus far, only Tony Stewart has actually completed all 1,100 miles on the same day (in other attempts, the driver either didn't finish one of the races or finished one or more laps down, or one of the races was postponed to the next day due to rain).
