Do you have any pictures of how this looks on the bike? And how you mounted it all up? I’d like to do this but want it tidy. Currently my 2nd battery dies eventually and then I’m stuck kicking the bike. Also, will this matter if the batteries are 2 different sizes? Currently my second battery is much smaller than my main battery.
I've done the 24v mod without onboard charging ( I'm happy to manually charge ) and the mod worked fantastic until it didn't. my starter motor failed which caused the battery to fail. What protection can I use between the second battery and the starter motor. Will a fuse work ? search "24 Volt Starter Mod. Don't do this." to see starter / battery fail.
@@eugenegavriloff1087 Thank you, wanted to make sure I used something large enough. I did this mod without plugs and I want to use plugs now so I can bypass the 2nd battery when I'm doing trail work with lots of starts and stops. I used both batteries doing trail work and killed the 2nd battery so bad it will no longer charge. New battery on the way.

@@eugenegavriloff1087 Yup, already saw that too and plan to do that in the future. I have one race left this year so I want to get past that first before doing the charger mods. Thanks though.
Hey how did you get on with the charging system. I did the 24v mod and only got about 12 starts from my bike before my designated start lithium battery failed.
