Why have you not amended the video and taken that scene out. It is not of benefit to anyone. However, whilst I believe it is inappropriate to show the implied intention, the reality is that not in every part of the globe pre slaughtered chickens are available, especially very rural areas. Those who eat chickens in these areas have to do the dirty deed themselves. It looks horrible and it must be horrible to have to do it. I am not sure, but I think if my life depended on it I could not do it. Yet I recall as a young post WWII child, chicken could only be bought live in markets so my great grandmother would have to kill, pluck and singe the poor bird as noone else in the family would do it. . But in those days unlike today she would use 90 percent of the bird and produce out of one bird food for the family for 4 days. I think that there is some hypochrisy in the way we think - I dont believe the way we rear and slaughter chickens today for mass markets is any kinder than the method implied in this UA-cam: it's just that someone else does the job so we can self delude that we are so kind to the creatures.
