Enjoyed this one Shan ❤ Glad you had a nice getaway with your mum. You deserve it! My eldest son is very similar to George in not wanting to follow instructions or do structured activities (dips in and out and does only the bits he wants). It's been really helpful for me to re-frame the behaviour as being anxiety based, even if it doesn't appear to be. Often it appears to be defiance but actually it's because many kids are sensitive to pressure and feel a strong need for autonomy. And that can manifest as being totally happy to do things on their own terms so you know they actually enjoy the activity but if someone else is coercing (even gently encouraging) them to do it their instinct is to resist or potentially run away (could activate fight/flight). I'm really glad that I learned this because it baffled me for a while when he was little! Very sensitive our boys 💙 xxx
Shan I don't know if you know this as I didn't but you shouldn't put anything in the footwells incase of an accident, things can fly and cause serious injuries. I recently saw a post about this it was very sad. I used to do it to but its made me realise so definitely worth getting a roof box. Ps we love Yarmouth we're going again in the summer xx
Hi Shan, we recently had the same dilemma about buying a roof box but in the end we went for a roof ‘bag’ from Amazon. A fraction of the cost and it travelled safely all the way from the Midlands to Cornwall - highly recommend! Lovely vlog as always xxx
We just got back from a midweek away ourselves! Was so lovely to get out, even for just a little bit. Looks like we might have been in one very similar. Same kind of arcade and show! 😍 Our little house was so creaky though! My gosh we had to ninja style our way to our bedroom! 🤣
Love the bathroom progress. Only issue is concealed valves or any sort of concealed plumbing is a nightmare when it comes to maintenance and issues 🥹 when you buy your wet wall panel considering buying more in the event you need to access the plumbing. As someone who has a property maintenance business finding the matching tile/wet wall panels is such an issue. Your future self will thank you.
Shan try bathing the kids in a cheap paddling pool on kitchen floor works a treat without a proper bathroom. And works great in a caravan is you pop it in the bottom of the shower tray ❤❤
We're going on holiday in July to Cornwall, first holiday for my 4 month old (will be 7 months old on the holiday) This is getting me excited (although I know will be intense at times) 😎⛱️ xx
Hey, I loved this vlog. I've got a 10mth LG and wanting to do a stay cation, yih all looked like you had a fab time. Just a point on the lollipops, be very careful(none patronising ❤) my mum lived next door to a little boy who was 6 when she was younger, he had a swizzle lolly which came of the stick and got stuck and unfortunately, it ended badly. Please, everyone be careful. I've vowed never to let my kids have one but each person can decide. ❤
Hi! Can you please help me.I’m from another country it’s my first time being a mom can you please suggest some places where I can buy all the baby essentials and stuff that is very affordable as I have a very low budget and can you tell me all the things I’ll need
George is very similar to my boy who has send needs he is on the waiting list for assessment. when you mentioned he preferers to do things on his own and not join in. Nursery can help and he may benifit from a support plan. Try visual instructions when you are out and about as it can be so over stimulating when it's noisy. Also, deep pressure helps and talking really slow to him giving lots of time for him to process what you have said. When you have the visit from the HV try to not brush these obvious signs off as just boys will be boys as its so hard to get support and if he needs it you will have to be really adament and strong to fight for what he needs. It's a mindfield . Any family members with Asd/adhd. Does he play imaginatively? Or have any special interests? You have probably been researching behaviours and you will know deep down if he has sen or not its just sort of finding peace with it and accepting it which is difficult and a process but comes with it a sence of confidence and change you will see things how he sees it itsca difference not a lack he is amazing as are you. Stay strong and be firm with the professionals. Didn't intend for such a long message, but i can relate to you and the struggles. Xxx
I George,s behaviour is not that unusual very common and he's still very young, showing he's got a mind of his own.If it doesn't bother him dont let it bother you.
@@KatyKentyou’re very odd, why watch the videos if you clearly don’t like Shan? It’s okay to not like everything people do, but when it has no effect on your life at all - keep it to yourself and do better. Try to have a nice day and stop being so negative on all her videos.
Where were the arcades Shan? Were off to yarmouth soon 😊 and Georges behaviour seems so typical, even my 3 year old who loves joining in, once shes done, shes DONE. 😂 So typical at this age, team work/social joining skills dont fully develop until they're 7 anyway 😊
My husband always moans about how much we pack and I keep telling him that’s how much stuff you need. When our son was a baby we literally packed a whole Vito van 🙈
Aw looks like a lovely time! I went to Yarmouth Vaxhaull park last week with the kids - such a great holiday for them!
I'm going there with my 3 boys. Cannot wait. We've never been. X

You can hire roof boxes for the car! My family always did this when I was a kid, it’s pretty affordable x
I love your videos. Your the best ❤❤

Did you find any black mold growing in the bathroom walls
When you stripped the room!?
