That was the Psalm for today's Sunday Mass!
Then it was providentially released today!!!
Rev. Thomas J. Mercer died 06/09/1901
Rev. James Lee Rizer died 06/09/1989
May these 2 priests, of the diocese of Richmond rest in the Peace of Our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
In the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord; Lord hear my voice. Let Thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication. If Thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities, Lord, who shall stand it? For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness, and by reason of Thy law, I have waited for Thee, O Lord.
Thank you, Alvaro
Blessings 🙏
Thank you Alvaro for sharing this story. May God bless you and your family and ministry.
This miraculous & amazing story got me emotional. Much appreciatiion Alvaro for sharing it. May God continue to bless you always. ✝️🙏🛐
We pray the rosary everyday, I'll pray for them
De profundis, taken from Psalm 130
“ Out of the depths I have cried to Thee, O Lord; Lord hear my voice. Let Thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication. If Thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities, Lord, who shall stand it? For with Thee there is merciful forgiveness, and by reason of Thy law, I have waited for Thee, O Lord.”
I love it
Hello from Maryland! The holy souls or my guardian angel had woken me up on numerous occasions
That’s so beautiful 🥰
I have learned so much through this channel. We are making friends in purgatory-my children love praying for them
For the blessed repose of my husband Scott Joseph’s soul . He died on March 18th . His Guardian Angel helped wake me up . He died in my arms . A few hours prior , he received Our Blessed Jesus in the Holy Eucharist. Our Blessed Mother granted his dying wish that mine would be the last face he saw before he went onto Eternal Life. I wear his scapular now instead of mine ,as he kissed it so many times during his illness . Thank you for sharing this precious bit of history . I’ve always had a tender love for the holy souls . In your charity, please pray an Ave Maria for Scott ? Dying at home was exactly what we prayed for . God bless you 🌹🙏
🙏💙🙏
🙏🙏
I prayed three Aves with the Flame of Love added for Scott
Wow! What an interesting story illustrating how God orchestrates events for the conversion of individuals. That prayer helped not only purgatory souls but that of the criminal
Wow what a great story!! God works in so many different ways and we are so blessed 🙏🏻🕊️
This story just gave me a breakthrough. I really benefited from this. Thank you.
AMEN
I've been praying about this. And the Holy Spirit is letting me know that the holy souls suffering in purgatory cannot help themselves or us. They can help us only when they get to heaven.
YES
Actually they can help us but can not help themselves while still in purgatory
@@JaneannKakaleczCite Church teaching please.
The church has not stated a definitive teaching on the matter so far so that the faithful may form varied opinions on this. One doctor of the church in favor of the opinion is St. Alphonsus Liqouri who wrote in his book, The Great Means of Salvation and Perfection, ““[W]e should piously believe that God manifests our prayer to those holy souls in order that they may pray for us; and that so the charitable interchange of mutual prayer may be kept up between them and us…”
@lemonwatersalt
This has *never* been a teaching of the Church; ONLY that they cannot pray for themselves!
Hundreds of approved Apparitions have stated quite otherwise; that they CAN pray for us (& do), the Church Militant. Remember, we are all One Body, One Family: the Body of Christ, in no way disconnected from each other.
I doubt the Holy Spirit has revealed to you what has not yet been declared by Holy Mother Church.
Remember to *always* test the spirits as you pray, and listen. If you pray sincerely, the devil will do all he can to lie to you. _Test the spirits!_ Ask for guidance again, but also ask that God begin to remove any false beliefs you may hold.
Good, useful information! Thanks for sharing. I will pray the De Profundis in Latin for the holy souls. 🙏REQUIESCAT IN PACE. IN NOMINE PATRIS ET FILII ET SPIRITUS SANCTI. +AMEN
Thank you once again Alvaro !
TY Alvaro.
AS LONG AS TRADITIONAL CATHOLICS ARE BEING PERSECUTED.....NOT ONE PENNY IN ANY SECOND COLLECTIONS!!!!
PERIOD!
WE AS FAITHFUL ROMAN CATHOLICS ARE ONLY REQUIRED TO SUPPORT OUR PARISH!!!!
The maintenance fund is the only one that stays at parish 100%. At least that’s how it used to be
@user-zi5lx6lx5k
If you use checks or electronic pay systems, you can specify where you wish your donations can go: food pantry, building fund, maintenance fund, flower/candle fund, mission fund...
A beautiful testimony
Awesome, Alvaro! I will remember this one!
God bless this channel!
Wow ❤🙏
Amazing work Alvaro
✝️🙏🏻
I love it when things come around 360
We can help the souls in Purgatory by Gregorian and offering masses
But it is not the souls that help you it should be God and Angela
They cannot even help themselves and need our prayer
What I have been told is when we pray for them graces flow from Christ
Need to straighten this
Whatever may be the mind of the Angelic Doctor, theologians agree that no merit is possible in purgatory, and if objection be urged that the souls there merit by their prayers, Bellarmine says that such prayers avail with God because of merit already acquired "Solum impetrant ex meritis praeteritis quomodo nunc sancti orando) pro nobis impetrant licet non merendo" (They avail only in virtue of past merits as those who are now saints intercede for us not by merit but by prayer). (loc. cit. II, cap. iii).
God hears the purgatory prayers outside of time period.
Where can I find that prayer
Psalm 129 *
De profundis. A prayer of a sinner, trusting in the mercies of God. The sixth penitential psalm.
Out of the depths I have cried unto Thee, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice.
Let Thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.
If Thou, O Lord, shalt mark our iniquities: O Lord, who can abide it?
For with Thee there is mercy: and by reason of Thy law I have waited on Thee, O Lord.
My soul hath waited on His word: my soul hath hoped in the Lord.
From the morning watch even unto night: let Israel hope in the Lord.
For with the Lord there is mercy: and with Him is plenteous redemption.
And He shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
(Eternal rest or “Requiem aeternam”)
Eternal rest give to them, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon them.
May they rest in peace.
Amen.
V/. Lord, hear my prayer.
R/. And let my cry come unto Thee.
Let us pray.
O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful; grant to the souls of Thy servants departed the remission of all their sins, that by our devout supplications they may obtain that pardon which they have always desired. Who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
V/. Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord.
R/. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
V/. May they rest in peace.
R/. Amen.

Thank you so much
Alvaro, to be clear, the Catholic Church does not teach that the souls in purgatory can intercede for us while being purged. One may choose to believe they can, but the Church never confirmed they can. Saint Thomas Aquinas said they cannot, cannot help themselves or us while being purged. So I take it that you believe they can assist us once they enter heaven, not while in purgatory. I'm with St. Thomas Aquinas on this one. After all, it makes no sense, to me, that a suffering soul could help me if it cannot even help itself!
Have you read purgatory accounts from the approved Catholic mystic Maria Simma? Please look out for a book titled, "Get us out of here". This book documents a series of interviews a number of Catholic priests had with this purgatory mystic including what souls in purgatory revealed to her about their intercessory power before God and many other evidences of how God willed it that they help some humans somewhere in a number of real life incidences. You will likely change your mind about what you conceive of their power to intercede for us.
It has been confirmed in many mystical writings that while the poor souls in purgatory cannot pray for themselves, they can and do indeed pray for people on earth; and in fact, they are sometimes given missions from Our Lord to pray for certain outcomes on earth to help the Church Militant. They do this as an act of charity that helps them become further cleansed of their sins, and to prepare for what life is like as a saint in Heaven. Unfortunately, Saint Thomas Aquinas did not have perfect understanding of God and Divine Law, and whose writings should not be treated as like the Gospel. For example, he did not believe in the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary which is a prominent undeniable teaching of our Catholic Church, and has also been supported by approved Marian apparitions like the Miraculous Medal and Our Lady of Lourdes. In particular, the Miraculous Medal was given by Heaven 24 years before the dogma was declared by the pope. St Thomas Aquinas was clearly one of the most gifted Catholic theologians in history but he was also a man who could be flawed in his understanding of the supernatural realm. God bless.
The point is it's not church dogma. Does it really make sense that a soul could help you or me if it can't help itself? And Saint Thomas Aquinas died in 1274. The Miraculous Medal was given by heaven in 1830, so saying St. Thomas didn't believe in The Immaculate Conception is a weak point. And the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said the holy souls cannot help us or themselves as they are suffering. Only when they get to heaven.
I was taught in Catholic grade school that the souls in purgatory cannot pray for themselves, but can pray for the living.
@@edmoroz4556Please cite the Church dogma.
