The beautiful thing about this lesson is that it's a gradual process of playing makossa lines that covers from Beginners Level to Advanced level. Nice one Bassmatics. 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Thank you❤🙏🙏🙏
Pls help us when reading out the notes try take it slow that way it will help beginners like me

God bless you papa Bassmatics
The lesson u shared is worth millions. Ur a great human being, lovely humble person and artist. Love u and God bless u and ur family. ( from Bharat)
Thank you ❤️🙏🙏🙏
I'm a bass player, and my playing is mostly based on rock lines. Gradually I started craving for makosa bass lines,I want new ones actually I don't wanna be stuck playing the ones I know. I decided to come to UA-cam and find some makosa bass lessons/breakdown, then bass matics was suggested for me when I searched for makosa bass lines. To be very honest this was just all I wanted and you showing solfa notes, is legit, thanks man!💯
And I actually loved the groove you played for "dance like a winner man" in a live program u uploaded on UA-cam.
If u wanna understand this lessons don't just jump into any line u want, even if you feel u are a pro start from the beginning, practice it, develop ur muscle memory of the groove, learn how to play it steadily, and move to the next one.
And make sure you mute any other stuff that u are brain is actually trying to put into the groove you're listening to (lol it happens to me all the time) or else you'll only be stuck to playing the things u can play and to learn a new thing is gonna be an issue.
Oh wow! I’m so glad ❤️🙏 thank you
Bassmatic I dey feel your makossa groove from there. You just make understand that bass guitar is easy and so interesting.
I’m glad 🙂 🙏 Thank you
I love African music so much. I have been trying to play by ear but I could not nail all the notes. Thank you for this video. I cannot stop smiling watching this video. Thank you 😂.
Oooh I’m glad😊🙏🙏🙏❤️
Thank you man. I played all these basslines on keyboard and it was so cool that the church even thought it was a real bass because of the way I set it.
Oh that’s great to know 👍👍👍❤️
You are so gentle and a good instructor.
You are my mentor.
Thanks a lot for helping us out here.
Oh thank you❤️🙏
I liked the 4th groove especially. It was part of the breakdown in the song "Attentat" by Koffi Olomide from the album Attentat played by veteran bassist Binda Bass. I started dancing when I heard it. Much respect Bassmatics.

Hi Mate, I really enjoyed your lesson. I’try to master them all. 🙌
How can I get you backing track To practice with too? Thx
Thank you. I can send you the track
I have to play for a Fijian Worship service and this will help getting the rhythm and feel of this kind of music.
Ooh great. I'm glad this video is helpful 🙏
@@BASSMATICSTV the rhythm and timing of the chord tones is trickier than I’d like. Western music and gospel is usually one note at a time, but Islander and African music is so rhythmically involved in a different kind of way.
@@judahyumul7562 Absolutely. African basslines carries alot of grooves
I love it 😍
Thank you
Nice one boss...I really learn a lot
💯
Oooh I'm glad ❤🙏🙏
Heeeeee!!!!! Brother Your finger is like machine
Thank you 🙂🙏
Thanks boss.
You are welcome 🙏
Great one sir!
Thank you
Nothing here has to do with makossa what you beautifully play here and I am grateful for that is congolese style makossa is from cameroon and for that you probably should listen to Aladji Toure, Toto Guillaume, Guy Sangue, Kotto Bass and the likes
Oh really 😳
10 Bro...🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
My gee 🙂🙌🙌🙌 great choice
