I love that there's so many general use techniques in this. Not sure when I'll need to make a coin but this was 100% worth it just for the tools and shortcuts I never knew about :D
Wow! I consider myself to be a Photoshop Wizard with 20+ years of using photoshop and you've successfully humbled me. I know it's always changing and developing, but it looks like I need to be spending much more time on your channel!
Learnt an absolute ton of techniques from watching and following along with this tutorial. Love your style, so easy to understand! Thanks for sharing this. 😃
Had never learnt how to properly use subtract and other function in shapes and had to rely on illustrator previously for quick output. Now I know how its done. Also didn't know about unchecking blend clip layers function, transform path again edit, and few others. This will help in my work a lot. Thank you very much. May be you can teach some more hidden tips like such. Todays video had many tips that you had not share before that often.
What's cool is that this technique directly transfers to a 3D modeling technique when developing Materials for objects and using Nodes (like a layer of images to enhance the affects) to "texturize" the object. Embossing the coin would be "Apply a Normal's Node" and a "Bump Node". And scratches would be applying a "Roughness Node". So cool to see the correlation.
GRACIAS, GRACIAS, GRACIAS!
Fantastic tutorial. I followed along on Photoshop 2020, which did not have all the features in this vid (like masking in camera raw, and star angle), but it had most of what I needed. I fidled with one or 2 different settings by accident, and was able to get it done.
Thank you so much for the great tutorial. I learned a lot. As soon as I saw coin I was like OHHH I'm going to make some Assassin's Creed coins after the game. I made a copper, silver, and gold one. I loved how they turned out. Thank you for the great tutorial.
Glad to see that such wonderful tutorial for photoshop. I guess the above tutorial will took more than 72 hours to plan, scripting, recording, editing and uploading. There are very few channels who offered the unique tutorials, you are one among them. Learned lot of photoshop techniques in single tutorial and it will helps me to understand how effective the photoshoot features are and i miss to understand them longer period. Proud to be as ur subscriber and hatsoff your hardwork.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
just seeing tNice tutorials tutorial so glad I did, I was about to go back to jogging in the creek, but now there is hope and inspiration will definitely
really love your videos! keep them up, i was able to learn everything since you taught it step by step, never once thought i was able to create something like this in photoshop! thanks once again
Great teaching SIR, throught ur video one secret i understood BASICS are more importent this tutoriol is very intresting, please make video on SHINY EMERALD JEWEL, Thank uSIR.
Really Great tutorial !!! Thank you. I see for the first time so realistic face transformation in PS. In every other tutorials, the parts of the face are not correctly presented - why: because the eyebrows (for example) are higher than the nose, but because they are darker than the nose, the looks lower (deeper) in other tutorials. Do you have a separate tutorial exactly for face transformation? Thank you in advance.
I believe I am following your instructions to the letter, but at approx 16:06 of the video, after creating the circle on the inner ring, I am unable to drag to those crosshairs to the center. When I click and drag, the crosshairs along with a white box outline move to the center. When I release the drag, the entire black circle is is now in the center. Not like what I see in the video. What am I doing wrong?
Well, this looks like a lot of fun. Definitely love the suggestions and methods on how to use sketch. I found that the gradient was a bit too bright in the top as well: b2b2b2 or there about worked well. Thank-you for another amazing course.
Dude, you're like a PS God. Your video with 19 tricks is spectacular! Do you have any material about Illustrator or plan to release it? I need to improve my knowledge in AI and you seem like the perfect person to teach me ;-)
