Kinda sad, but I can tell Nick isn't joking. He knows it is a good time for him to have a kid when he is still in his early 30s. But it takes two to tango and if Malena doesn't want to he will have to make difficult decision. Eather stay with her knowing he wouldn't have a child for the rest of his life or leave her and start a family with another person. Yet I am analysing another mans life when I am 25 and still no gf :/
You have something called empathy. Having kids is the best thing in the world for a lot of people. It's a basic natural biological impulse to have and it's beautiful. Because of that I feel bad he will need to loose out of a decade relationship with someone he loves and laughs with that isn't easy to replace all because she has a immature perspective of children.
Every time she talks about kids it's like I'm hearing a edgy 12 year old talk about it. She's never been the smartest but couples therapy is the last hope and maybe she'll be mature enough to explain why she doesn't want kids if she does at the end of it in a mature manner.

Easier said than done because he was raised this way and its instilled in him. Most of us were taught certain things like cutting grass or changing tires but i couldnt see Nick doing any of that. The Norway boat trip solidified that, she would take out the trash, gut and catch fish whilst he was complaining or flinching from the fish. Tbf he is improving as hes eating right and hitting the gym.
Being a parents are goals too, what higher goals u want in 30s? One is afraid of reponsibilities, and the other is ready but atleast he is progressing in marital relationship. I advice nick that go to clinic and get ur own kid with technology now adays you just need a donor and raise that kid as a responsible parent.
