Gotta make another comment. My time in the Corps 50 plus years ago helps me to this day. I’m 73. I’ve been self employed 43 years as a contractor/carpenter/builder. I’m still at it with ZERO intention of retiring. The Corps taught me that my physical/mental limits are way out beyond what one thinks they are. I learned that I can maintain forward motion in a shit storm. The camaraderie , esprit de Corps ....great friendships made bad situations survivable. Marines don’t quit. They laugh when challenged and push/pull their buddy if necessary to move forward. I think of my time in the Corps daily and thank God I enlisted. I was 17. A kid. I will be Semper Fidelis...Always Faithful till the day I die. Dave Heitman Sgt., USMC 1967-1970 19 months in Vietnam
Man it was awesome for these guys to take care of you and help push you and encourage you at the end and you have the chance to experience what the men in service go through, nice job man !
One of the best things you can say about the military during peacetime is that they both take things seriously and are relentlessly encouraging. Absolute power combo.
always respect Will's willingness to try anything and everything. scoring in 1st class without technically training for it for a few months is super respectable. honestly a 25 minute 3 mile is very good too for someone who doesn't run hardly ever. by far the best fitness channel
Watching them all run with you at the end, yelling for you to sprint was epic! It made me think about how if that were in the battlefield you would be by yourself carrying a heavy pack or injured brother. They wouldn't be there to push you to move but all of your training involved they're support in your ability to push past your limits, building you up and giving you motivation to keep going in the face of extreme adversity. So each time you were faced with having to push yourself you would be reminded of all the support you have from your brothers.
I've been in the Marine Corps 20 years and although I can max out these events I've never done them all in one day. Plus over time you learn tricks like techniques to climb the rope and proper form to fireman carry. You actually did really well on all of the tests. Nice job! Love your videos! Thanks for creating, sharing and taking on new challenges.
The only thing I miss about the army was the friends I made, having people there to motivate you to keep going and not give up. Don’t stop when you’re tired, stop when you’re done.
"Don't stop when you're tired. Stop when you're done." OMG, I love that. Where is that quote from? While I often question WTF our higher-ups in government are up to, I have always admired our servicemen and women in our military. I knew they worked their asses off, but seeing this is like WHOA! Serious badasses! Will is amazing-- funny AF and inspirational as well. I've lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks. To try all 3 levels in one day is awe-inspiring. YOU are a Legend, young man, and I am so glad I found your channel.
So much respect for Will. Doing this on camera and finishing the course. Hopefully people can watch this and get motivated. Much respect for you Will. This one has to be in your top 5 best.
I heard the Marines "voice of experience" chime in when he said... "ya sure you dont want me to show you a few techniques" I KNEW He KNEW SOMETHING The other didnt - right after he confidently said "all arm"....lol.
I could see that this is his best video so far and the motivation in this video from everyone was way better than the motivation I seen any gym, including the gyms in his videos I literally liked the video for trying. You did great and you reminded me how important it is to have that male bond and to not quit. I appreciate that.
Thats right Will, in a Marine course its not about trying to be the best. Its about doing your best and help your teammates across. That shows something far better than being a champion, it shows leadership.
pretty sure that is how it is in every single team game, military unit, corporation, school class, group of friends, etc. Anything done as a group in this world, will have this dynamic going on. The Marines are not somehow unique in this regard Also, having "champs" can oftentimes help a group feel more unity. Not everything is supposed to be some happy woke place without any competition. Matter of fact, "Excellence" is also a Marine motto...
These are some good Marines, especially the guy vaping during the 3 mile run. I remember those days when everyone was smoking cigs right before we started the 3 mile run. Classic. Salty. I never watched your videos but this one made me subscribe. Great job!! 🇺🇸
LOL. I was one of those pre/post-run smoke pit Marines. My average weight was around 230, 22 minute 3 mile, 20 pull ups, 100 crunches (don't know when they switched to planks). good times!

Seeing this and remembering that I barely could run 1.5 miles in the Air Force for minimum time tells me I would have either gotten in the best shape of my life in the Marines or have been medically discharged for breaking everything in my body lol. Respect to you for even trying and salute to the Marines getting it done every day.

Hey Will. I gotta put this out there-joining the Marines has been a goal of mine for a while now, so I've been trying to get in shape for it but have just been plateauing and falling deeper into the hole. Your dedication to the "one more" mentality in this vid inspired me to get off my ass and go run 3 miles (if you can do it, I can do it I guess) and lo and behold, I whittled down my old PR by 4 minutes! Seeing you suffer gives me strength
Hey bro , marine here. As long as youre not over weight when going to boot camp you will be completely fine. Boot camp breaks you regardless of physical strength. There will always be people faster and stronger just dont give up.
as long as you can do the minimum pft standards, you’re gonna be fine. the drill instructors are gonna make you stronger one way or another, and put out on PT as well.

@@TheEditorJosh hey, rly amazing work. The comedic timing was on point
@@TheEditorJosh Hey man you went beyond on this one. great work.
I remember seeing a video you talking about when you were younger and struggled with weight and you've come so far. Obviously we don't know you personally by watching these videos but you comes across as genuine and all around a good person. It's cool to see you grow and become a confident grown up. I like that you show the challenges too. You did a great job. Not many people can do most of these challenges.
Dave Heitman Sgt., USMC 1967-1970 19 months in Vietnam

thank you for your service
Thank you❤️
Will really out here making the best fitness content on UA-cam, the amount of effort he puts into his videos is insane. All for our viewing pleasure
Ah I see it is a member of the Hancock dynasty
Yup. We’re all watching this from our couches. 😉
Haha all for financial gain ***
@@robertm7486 It's his job. Aren't most jobs for financial gain? Gotta support yourself somehow.
@@Kadoogan83 yeah the op said all for our viewing pleasure and I corrected him
Man it was awesome for these guys to take care of you and help push you and encourage you at the end and you have the chance to experience what the men in service go through, nice job man !
And this is why Coach Greg is such a big advocate for cardio. This was brutal.
I read that twice as a “big avacado” at first 😂
Because Cardio is literally 98 percent of the things you do as a Marine.
coach greg is a clown though
Don't forget to train the most important muscle folks.
All I have to say is, if you think you can run, try a boot and utes run. STILL puckers my asshole and I used to do the 3 mile in 21 minutes-ish. 🤣
This looks like one of the hardest challenges he's put himself through so far. What a legend Willy is.
Props to the Marines for doing this too!
Will got all the cardio he needs for 2023. 😂
It is tough.. forsure
Willy?
At least this time he didn't have to eat 10,000 calories on top of all the physical work lol
Beautifully put 💯
Um they aren't RANGERS or SEALS they have 20 guys around them all the time while in combat 😅
I love how they cheer him on and support him, so kind :)
I don’t care what your fitness level is, this looked BRUTAL! Mad respect for you doing that. 😮
Ooorah takes a lot of heart to be one of us, thanks for taking the challenge and showing it’s not easy! You did great
The only thing I miss about the army was the friends I made, having people there to motivate you to keep going and not give up.
The scene from 17:00 looked straight out of a movie where everyone was pushing Will to reach the end line, loved every bit of this vid!
Marines are awesome! Such kind and respectful people
So much respect for Will. Doing this on camera and finishing the course. Hopefully people can watch this and get motivated. Much respect for you Will. This one has to be in your top 5 best.
When Will said he knew how to do the rope obstacle course "with all arm" I knew we were in for a rough day 😂
There was this one drill instructor in my company that used two ropes, one in each hand, and used only arms to get to the top. Man was extremely fit
I heard the Marines "voice of experience" chime in when he said... "ya sure you dont want me to show you a few techniques" I KNEW He KNEW SOMETHING The other didnt - right after he confidently said "all arm"....lol.
The best part of this video is at the end when every single guy is right there with you, every step, encouraging you to push through!
Damn those guys were awesome! The encouragement they were giving was actually heartwarming.
I spent over seven years in the USMC. I give you credit for even doing this. Love your vids brother.
I could see that this is his best video so far and the motivation in this video from everyone was way better than the motivation I seen any gym, including the gyms in his videos I literally liked the video for trying. You did great and you reminded me how important it is to have that male bond and to not quit. I appreciate that.
The fact that Will did all this in one day is commendable.
The Marines are not somehow unique in this regard
Also, having "champs" can oftentimes help a group feel more unity.

My average weight was around 230, 22 minute 3 mile, 20 pull ups, 100 crunches (don't know when they switched to planks). good times!
The army used dip. Why stop nicotine intake DURING the run?
@@blen801 2022 they switched
@@user-il9ze9py8c Lots of marines had a lip in during our runs. I'll never forget the smell of the beer sweats and dip. good times.
@@syienth1 I used to have loose dip and once I swallowed it on the run. I almost puked everywhere.
I was a Corpsman, I love Marines! They are so fun. Thank you for doing this, brings back good memories.
More like corpseman, am i right, piece of shit for a human being?
W comment
Mad respect to the Marines in the video and in the comments ❤ Will did an incredible job and I absolutely love that there’s zero ego or bullying, just honesty and motivation.
The fact that he did all three fitness tests all in one day shows how strong he is physically and mentally. Also, crazyyy bc I’m stationed in San Diego and could’ve witnessed one of the coolest and inspiring UA-camrs out there.
The level of encouragement and comadery is awesome!
Cool to see the Marines support you especially through the final challenge. And the recognition for the back to back to back, insane.
Can confirm as I showed up as a fat body and still made it through with my sheer want of being the best and becoming a Marine
It's cool how supportive these guys were. That last segment looked brutal.
I got out of the Marines in 2016 and this video is great, mad respect for you going out there and doing the course, PFT and CFT all in one day, that's insane!!! Shout out to these Marines, these dudes are great and give a perfect glimpse of how marines act and goof around on a daily basis! Good stuff!
Funny, never met a marine that wasn’t likable.
That's great, loved to see the comradery in this short video. Even partly loved the environment in the Bundesheer in Austria.
Really impressed with the Marines here. Loved the encouragement they gave you man. Really solid! Also, I loved that you worked hard and made it through! Big congratulations are in order
Mad props to you brother. Loved the banter with those Soldiers. Watching from New Zealand.
One thing that surprised me about this was just how nice the marines were
we are trained not to show ass
Of course they take the nicest ones to make videos. I was in the German army for 8 years and it's the same there. They choose the people for PR, of course.
@@tonytimedenice Germans? were they immigrants or something?
Baha most Marines are just bros 🤣
Lol I’ve never seen Will this scared for a challenge before but that goes to show he really is getting out of his comfort zone.
Great message on the video. Randomly came here and glad I watched. Kudos to everyone on it.
Just give the editor of the video a raise already. That final test was hollywood worthy.
God Damn.

@@TheEditorJosh +1 on that, was sick. Loved the grenade dirt effects haha
@@TheEditorJosh your editing got me bricked up fr 😈
@@TheEditorJosh He's right though, with that last run, I was imagining a chopper waiting for him at the finish line, in like an emergency evac situation. I even said outloud to myself... "man, this is a quality production". GG
As a Marine Vet I give you props! Buckling down and continuing to push through these tough-ass challenges in one day... That's one of the hallmarks of US Marines. Embrace the Suck brother! And remember, If you're gonna pass out in front of a Corpsman, make sure it's the day you're wearing your fancy underwear! Thanks for the content man!
That's awesome!!!!!!!!!!! I loved how all the Marines were so supportive
Will consistently shows his ability to blend his humor and personality to who he is collaborating with. This is such a great skill.
17:08 - So happy it went off.
Excuse me?!?! My boy at 8:06 with the steezy shorts was holding a vape just minutes before they go out for a 3 mile run. That takes some damn dedication to be able to run that while vaping.
Opens the lungs so u run better lol
You see it a lot surprisingly, last pt test i did my damn squad leader did the same shit
Let’s see them do it when they’re 50 if they keep vaping. Shit is gross.
I had a buddy while I was still in, he would smoke a cigarette before the pft and smoke everyone. Idk how he does it.
@@mimo4714Guy likes to smoke things.
aww these guys were the best. Really puts into perspective the brotherly and life long ties a lot of men create with their squad mates while in the service. Loved this one Will- and honestly, you freakin crushed it. I was hyping you out loud on the last one! 😂
I really love how they stayed with him and how supportive they were (which is of course exactly what I would expect, but still great to actually see in practice).
And Will is in pretty damn good shape so just shows the fitness level of out Marines

I respect him so much for doing this and making it real and entertaining!!!!!
As a Marine you crushed the events man those are hard as hell, congratulations.
Firefighter training up next will. I promise you’ll enjoy it. A lot of the things we did in the academy were so tough but so much fun.
The amount of love they give will is crazy
Definitely have my respect after this.. get some Will!! These were standard assessments for physical fitness and agility. In units we would have our own physical training every morning or evening, and those at times would be a smoke check to say the least!! Good job Will!
I’m in the Air Force currently and did that exact same obstacle course with the marines that you did in the beginning. It’s a lot of fun and I feel validated on how tough it was seeing you go through with it. Great video as always, Will!
Great job Will. Proud of you and all of our service men that has the strength and willpower to complete this course.
I nearly cried at the end. So hard and they wouldn’t let you give up. 💕
props to those guys, they were really cool and motivating!
That's the spirit! They are a team that motivate eachother. I admire that.
i Love the motivation from the whole squad ! it's so awesome !!!
You put a ton of your peers to shame on this one. That was a hell of an effort. Also showed a lot of respect for the armed forces. Pretty cool.
Good to see the Marines laughing with him not at him. Great guys.
Proper brotherhood! Love how they all pick him up and push him on 💪
Silver bullet commentary had never dieing. Can't wait for my knee to finish healing and getting back to it. Your vids helping to keep me motivated for that day.
Having completed many CFTs over the years, and having monitored hundreds, I’ve become intimately familiar with the sequence of events during the maneuver under fire and have seen everything that could possibly happen during the event. Thusly, no words can describe how taken aback I was when the grenade “exploded” during the grenade toss.
Shit caught me way off guard 😅

Being a Strength and Conditioning Coach, I see the impact of physicality not only for sports but for our lives. The last test shows how you can safe yourself and others with moves that actually are needed when the ‘ situation ‘ happens. Probably one of the most powerful videos you did and that has a lot of messages besides the jokes. Good effort will!
Training with moves specifically for actions on for your sport as well as for your life, move better, feel better and eventually support/ help others along the way! ✌🏽
