Follow the busses. There's plenty of spots along the way to get in and out.

Are you allowed to swim in Sugar Creek? I've heard some people say its not allowed...but we see alot of swimming. Do agents come often...or is it more of a suggestion, lol? Wondering for our first visit!

Hello, can you tell me where the ports are for putting in and taking out? I'd like to paddle this river, but I've never been out that way and I'm unfamiliar with the area.

Many of the bridges that cross the river have access near them expecially the covered bridges. If you are looking for a little longer more adventureous paddle, there is a spot just up stream from shades state park, take it all the way to the end of turkey run state park.... thats probably about a 20 miler, but my goodness it is gorgeous throug there
