That brought back memories, 8th ID 1/68 Armor 66-68, bn maint mechanic/wrecker operator, Baumholder. Replaced the new equipment with the 50 year old stuff in my mind. Made the annual drive to Graf plus the field operations. Didn't see an officer with a clipboard with a farmer wandering about assessing damage in this video, lol.. I don't know where we were, but I managed to slide the wrecker off one of those ultra narrow farm roads and broke a front axle spring when I slammed into a culvert and a tanker buried an M60 down to it's fenders, took two M88's and a broken main winch cable to get it out.
Indochina was a French colony. There was a war (1945-1954). France lost. Indochina beacame independant, then at war with the US. The US lost. It's a french army tradition to write battle or war names on armoured vehicles, like we can see a Leclerc with the name Strasbourg on it (French city freed in 1945).
I was going to say how much I missed this back in 1986 to 1990 until I saw all the mud. Then I'm like naaaaaa let young kids play in the muddy farmers field now. Seems like the Germans only let us play in wet farmers fields even way back then.

Welcher panzer ist das am Anfang?
Steht im Text, Kpz Leclerc.
Eine Frage, wo bekommt man den die einzelnen Übungstermine mit? Gibt es da was offizielles oder geht das oft auf viel Recherche zurück ?
What kind of tanks are they driving?
