I'm glad that I'm not the only one doing the genestealer/patriarch bomb. Puts a lot of pressure on the table.
Just wanted to say thank you for your hard work. I made the stupid choice of going with GSC as my first army (and I regret nothing) and it's awesome to have someone help understand the intricacies of our army.
One nice thing about allied in babe blade chassis is that, with sponsons, it’s 8 x 9 inches, if you put your cult ambush markers behind the bane blade, the enemy can’t get close enough to the bane blade without getting in engagement range of it to get your blips
Even tho I'm Sisters player, and I mainly watch you for Sisters content, you made me watch till the end cause you really made the video interesting!!
I'm currently collecting Sisters, but sometimes I want to get a second army, and Genestealers are on the wishlist! but it will take a long while till I decide that!
Great video!! 😄
That insane person with 40 catachans. I kneel
With you posting so much GSC content, I'm kinda sad about selling my old GSC army
Chose GSC over Tau as my 2nd army cause of the homie here. They’re great
You can string 11 models far wider than 5 if you use a bone-shape. And do not underestimate the damage, that chimeras deal for those 5 additional points.
I like your thought process on the shadow sword. I'm doing something similar with a night on my admech Army
To be honest, it kinda interesting seeing these 2000 lists because i play completely differently. From this, i use way more jackal 2 rock grinders, some genestealer to protect my Patriarch, and i use a banesword. My idea is to go in big with mechanized units and just rely on the fact nobody's expect genestealers much less mechanized genestealer to take over center of the board and then shoot everybody from distance or to bum rush soft target's
Nice Insight. I Don't Play genestealer but you could convince me to do so.
Huh I didn't think about throwing catachans into the cults army for that scout and infiltrate army. That's a good addition, catachans are actually my favorite regiment in concept but dang do their models need redone.
Bro I actually vaporized a C'tan nightbringer shard. The dude i was playing was beyond flaberghasted. Needless to say I said i am become death the destroyer of death itself. Fun match won by 2 points. Also use those acolytes with a goliath rock truck for that firing platform where they re roll the wounds. Busted like crazy and using a nexos to do that twice with 2 acolyte squads with nukes and nukes. Means 2 dead big things. Did this same strat on imperial knights. Killed one and almost the other. Finished the other off with an abominate squad
You should show of your painting scheme sometime! The naming sounds like you've done it in a snow theme, which is awesome, hope we get a glimpse of your models soon.
I have shown off a few models before - there are a couple at the start of this video: ua-cam.com/video/dAliUSwIPFs/v-deo.html&ab_channel=40kVtuber%3AChristianVonCarmian
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber They look great, especially the skin tone with the pinks, blues and oranges! And of course, the tank-top on Ingresh =D You should do a showcase sometime
Could you do a current meta breakdown of the best weapon loadout for SoB superiors of the different squads and the squads role and for canoness? So one for dominion, bss, nundams and seraphim etc.
Welp. This is inspiring to make an Occupy Terra protest themed GSC army
Hey, good video I play cheese stealer cult and would love a video how how best to use the army rule. Placement thoughts on markers, tactics etc
Placing tokens: ua-cam.com/video/-3EOV_Wbarw/v-deo.htmlsi=rwJnFgVmh-zTH8Cw
Tactics: ua-cam.com/video/lXvRuojEbU8/v-deo.htmlsi=IIwOkX2bpxIDjStF
and there are plenty more related videos on the channel
Thanks for another great vid. It would be good to see some tactics if you are going second.
Half of this video is about how to use stratagems when you go second:

@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber That is another incredible, which I have watched twice, as there is so much good info in it. I was thinking more about what would you do with the movement of the units like the purestrains which would normally be pinning the enemy in their deployment if we went first?
they should be out of line of sight turn 1. If the purestrains survive the enemy turn 1 I advance and charge through to the enemy second line, the valuable units held at the back. Rather than pinning the screening units, run around them
Think they should re-do the sabatour, let her be able too lead acolytes, give her something like being able too reroll number of shots.
maybe if they split up the acolytes into 2 different units then she will lead the demo charge one... but I will save that for the next video
On the subject of new tactics, do acolytes get demo charges back if they come back via cult icon? I assumed no, but the errata on returned models and the cult icon ability seem to match up.
we collectively rule that if returned by icon, no, if by cult ambush, yes.
The argument for it not working by icon is the model is returned as it was, not as a brand new model with a brand new demo charge
Thanks! Was considering an icon on a 5 man unit with 2 demo charges. If demolitions don’t come back, then might get the extra hand flamer.
What‘s your take on an Acolyte unit with all demo charges, Primus and Biophagus? This maximizes their demo charges while simultaneously giving them close combat power.
that works ok (but I love my Locus) and it will give them versatile use. I haven't tried it but it may work well for you
I could do with your insight... In building some acolytes, I only just realised that each 5 can have actually take 2x *_Demolition Charges_* , whereas the box and instructions give you 1x Demo and 1x _Blasting_ Charges. I assume they have effectively been merged into a single profile? And players are happy that both BCs and DCs represent DCs in 10th?
I wonder how many editions ago they were distinct, and if we might expect the upcoming codex to reintroduce that distinction?
they are the same now, blasting charges have been replaced with the grenades keyword
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuberthanks very much. That also explains why the Metamorphs are shown with a blasting charges model option.
Do you do battle reports by chance
Just a heads up redeploying loses you the infiltrate ability (circa an annoying FAQ a while ago and confirmed in the UKTC)
but in the more recent rules commentary, page 12, GW have ruled the other way on that and confirmed that you can infiltrate when redeploying
@@ChristianVonCarmian40kVtuber cool could you link that to me cos that'll change a lot for a few competitive builds.
I’m brand new to the game, just practicing making lists in rosterizer to play on TTS… what about Cult Icons? Should I put one on each of my units?
do you ever play in tournaments? i feel like we are in need of a champion to raise our dire winrates 😩
North Devon?

It’s a wonder to me that you don’t have more followers.
Bro. I respect that you have tried to make a video and help info, it's difficult and it's brave. But please fix and correct your information. Your 10 vs 5 aberrants as a line is so vehemently incorrect that players will start picking up bad habits. Please fix this.

It's always a good day when Von Carmi posts GSC content
