buy a hamond xk2 like that and researse everyday. After some years you got it. If you havent money buy a cheap organ to begin and to see if youll really keep. Buy a chord book to learn chords, pay a organist to teach you the chords of "imagine" jon lennon and sing along, after learn it pay again somebody to teach you to solo "hapy birthday to you", and so on......good luck, new keyboardist ! kkk

So soulful. Loved the laid back feel. Question; was the distortion because the speaker was getting overdriven, or the input signal on the recording was distorting?
Hey sounds great but....not sure if you have the overdrive on on the Organ and overdrive on on the Leslie at the same time. It's really distorting bad. That looks like a Leslie 3300. I run my overdrive at 12oclock for the volume and for the drive I run that at about 9o'clock. The mast volume on the Leslie will also determine how much distortion you'll get
I agree, as an old-time Hammond Tech I would say too much "Overdrive" (not done the way the B3/Leslie 120 do it) so the distortion is going beyond the smooth edge. Otherwise good job!

Coolest sound and smooth… melody line is clean and not too many frills where it’s muddied up. Wonderful sound and artistry.

A XK5 is not the same like a B3 with reverb and a great Leslie.
