I don't know if you're still using branch basics now but I highly recommend that you pair the laundry detergent with the oxygen boost for every load. Also, you can use 2 capfuls for larger loads. When cleaning your mirrors, it would be a lot more helpful to use a proper mirror/glass towel or paper towel to really get the benefits :)
I’ve been using branch basics for almost 6 months now. I really like it. Some of the things you tried doing they have tips for. Like hard stains to pre treat it with the all purpose spray. Or use the oxygen boost in the laundry. They have a whole bunch of tips on their website. Some of the sprays like chemical cleaners you have to allow the product to work. Like spray it on and let it sit. I have a shower and it has taken my soap scum off. I also have a porcelain kitchen sink and it has made it perfectly clean. I read some of your comments agreeing that BB should just have a all purpose spray instead of 3. Well you’re using different amts of concentrate in each bottle giving each “product” different power to work. Idk. I’m grateful I found it. *** I was just curious what others were saying about BB. That’s how I found your video. : )
I like the Branch Basics stuff! When I use it with microfiber cloths, I find it works like magic. I prefer it to castile soap as I find that to be drying and irritating for my eczemic skin. It is pricey to start, but I do find that it saves me money in the long run, as the concentrate makes 9 bottles of cleaner, 4 bottles of foaming soap, and laundry detergent. That's pretty good! If you pre-treat the stains like they recommend, the laundry soap does work well. My daughter is super sensitive to harsh smells like bleach and perfumes, so this has been a life saver for our family. I also appreciate that on their website they give you tips on how to clean with everyday, non toxic things that you probably already have at home.
I bought the concentrate + oxygen boost and used my own spray bottles. I like your Castille soap analogy. I am impressed with it as a spray cleaner for porcelain sink & granite counter tops. I sprayed the bathtub and then sprinkled the boost, let sit for 3 hours and it greatly improved rust stains. I also used the concentrate + boost to completely remove apple cider vinegar stains from a plastic bottle. For laundry, you need to pretreat with concentrate and possibly boost too. Soak before washing. However, I didn't think it did a good job as a laundry detergent on its own. Better for getting out stains as a pretreatment. I'm still experimenting with it and would like to try it as an oven cleaner. I have tried mixing a small amt of boost into the spray cleaner and it's very effective.
I kept seeing only praise for using it as a laundry detergent.. I purchased it primarly for that purpose and was a bit disappointed when i felt that it wasn't cleaning my clothing thoroughly :( stain wise - it has worked but generally washing it's not v thorough. Anyhow, im glad to see someone else mention it isnt strong on its own re laundry
Girlllll that laundry cap is like twice the size of the dirty labs cap!!! I literally cannot wait for you to review them. I’m on my second bottle and still in love
@@StrollingThroughLife not kidding! They say it’s like 1-2 teaspoons per load!! I just got my second bottle and it actually came in leaky. They offered to send me another one free of charge 💕 they’re seriously the best and I cannot wait to see more products from them.
It states on their site that after you fill up the bottles with water then soap, top it off slowly with more water. Their website has guides that tell you the how to use the products to their highest potential. As to the cost, how much do people spend on the other products that have toxic chemicals and fillers?
I just found SalSuds, Bronners cleaner, detergent, that works better with hard water as well as on stains. Everything BB does, salSuds does plus you can mix it with vinegar. The trick with the oxygen boost is to use hot water. I just used Molly Suds which has the same ingredients as BB but with added essential oil and cleaned our tile and the sink. I tried using it similar to BB directions. It really needed some hot water to activate the product. Scrubbing alone wasn’t enough. I used very little product but added hot water and a gen cleaner and it created a foamy layer and the result was amazing. Solid 10. Old yellow stain was gone and I’ve never seen the sink or tile that white. Same with our toilet’s blue junk at bottom of bowl?? Worked better than bleach. I add a scoop into a measuring cup and add some hot water and stir then dump into toilet. Let it sit.
Wanted to try this brand cause they're cruelty free too but no international shipping. Thanks for your vidéo, i subbed. Will look your vidéos to find a less expensive and cruelty free brand.
No haven't tried it, but been looking at the clean cult, branch basics, and blue land. Currently using melaleuca. Have you tried melaleuca's cleaning products? Would love for you to do a review on their products
I wouldn't buy from this brand personally because I would probably want the oxygen boost but what you said made it disappointing for me. I personally would want stronger cleaners which is why I have been using Yvy Naturals because its stronger than Blueland.
Totally understand! Ohhh! I haven’t tried them! I’ll have to put them on my list of products to try! I definitely want to find some stronger cleaning products!
@@StrollingThroughLife Yvy Naturals I stronger and the solution comes I'm pods that you can send back for them to be reused again later. I have been looking for a low waste sanitizer that isn't too expensive. I have the JAWS disinfectant but it does have ammonia so it's not Non Toxic. I have seen the ones that Electrolize water, vinegar, and salt but its too expensive for me to feel comfortable with the purchase at this moment in time. I love cleaning and the planet and the zero waste options are okay at best.
Thx for your review. First I never let my tiles get that gross 🤢. I also would have pre treated stains. Workout wear need to be turned inside out and cold water and hung dry. I do use booster to get smells out. I used branch basic for first time today and loved it. I used Norwex for 3 years. Microfiber and branch basics great together. I use FlyLadyPlus microfiber cloths now and with branch basics are amazing. I used laundry detergent to wash my dogs blankets today and it finally got those stinky dog orders out. I watched your video to see how it compared to my experience. If you have dirty grout it will take some scrubbing with anything. Product is great for people with asthma! So far I’m impressed
Essentially it looks like you’re paying for branding. The price point is steep for one type of concentrate. The fact that there was still a faint odor in the clothes tells me it’s not cleaning hard enough. Sadly, I think I will pass on Branch Basics.
Totally understand! You should check out JAWS! They have a disinfectant. I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s been recommended to me. It’s not plastic free, but it’s a great refillable option!
to legally qualify as a disinfectant requires either a pesticide, bleach, or a high concentration of alcohol. Overuse of disinfectants or antimicrobials has contributed to the evolution of very dangerous, resistant microbes. Cleaning physically removes dirt and microbes. Disinfecting kills the microbes, leaving the resistant ones and the dead ones behind, but it requires a dwell time. If you spray something with alcohol, and wipe, it's not long enough to denature the cell wall. You have to spray a disinfectant, and let it sit for the required dwell time.
Have you tried Branch Basics???
It helped clear my eczema on my hands. And greatly improved the air quality in the house. Its expensive 😩 so hope they reconsider the pricing.

the streaking on your mirror comes from your towel. might better to use a flat dish-drying cloth if you dont want to use a flat microfibre cloth

When wiping your mirrors, use a microfiber towel for streak free 😀

Thank you for this review!! I was trying to justify spending $75 on the premium starter kit when I, like you, already have clean products that I use.
Of course! I'm glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!! 😊
Can you Dr. Bronners for laundry detergent? Any good?

Good review 👍🏼 Thanks
Thank you!!
I've been hoping for this one.
Yay!!
I don’t put tap water! I put distilled water in
I still love bleach for desperate cases.

If you have hard water, you definitely don’t want to just use castille soap!
The amount for soap for laundry should be the amount you use for all laundry soaps.

The dishwasher tablets worked terrible. The all purpose spray leaves my granite countertops so dull and I see streaks all over.
