That's because (spoilers) Weyland-Yutani uploaded new operating protocols to the Working Joes after scumbag Ransome notified them that there was an alien on Sevastopol. The new protocols reprogrammed the Working Joes to protect the alien at all costs, to deny access to certain parts of the station to any survivors (like the comms area, so they can't radio for help) and to kill anybody who threatens the alien in any way. Around the middle part of the game Ripley manages to kill an alien by trapping it in a part of the station and then jettisoning that part of the station into the gas planet. After this the androids go ape-shit and decide that any living human is a threat to the alien, so they begin hunting all humans on the station, whereas before they were just protecting certain parts of the station and killing anyone who tried to go into that place.
Guys l never play alien isolation before l don't know if l should play it because lm not spending 29.99 on a horror game and the game takes 18 hours to complete and its creepy and it might have jumpscares in it
I have every achievement on this game. I played it on every mode more than once. Then I installed both the "Aggressive Alien" and "Unpredictable Alien" mods to keep it interesting, and now no matter what level I play on, the Alien can sense my presence no matter where I hide. Even behind sealed vent doors, it just goes apeshit at me from behind the metal. If I uninstall and reinstall my game, would that remove the mods? Would I lose my Steam achievements too?
Lol, a reinstall was unecessary, either validate the game files via Steam, It's essentially a manual update of the game that will also delete files that aren't supposed to be there, or delete those files manually from within the directory, if the mod is injected in and hard to find
It may search under the beds and tables or inside lockers. E.g. if it heard a sound but doesn't find anything. You can fire a gun, for example, and hide or leave the room. It will start searching the room for you. In the video's case, I think it heard the motion tracker as it was that close.
If it comes to your hiding spot, that's a good time to throw a distraction so you can get away. Flashbang works best as it makes no noise when you take it out

The phantom Ruby it's the most obvious thing ever, as soon as you see him you know he's a droid, the way he speaks, the first thing is when you wake up he says he doesn't need as much sleep as everyone else, company always send a synthetic etc etc
It's directly stated in mission 10 when Marshal Waits mentions sending Samuels to Android Processing. "He's a synthetic, should be easier for him to get in there."
The1997wiki mhm. if he hears the tracker from close by or sees you going under a table, bed etc he will crawl under. Or if he suspects the player may be there or close by under he’ll kneel down to look. The AI is so amazing in this game.
It has to be on pretty high alert and quite certain that you're there somewhere. It doesn't do that during normal sweep when it's just looking for you.
Xenomorphs are highly intelligent. Androids aren’t organic (obviously) and it isn’t hostile towards it so the xenomorph doesn’t care. There’s no reason for it to kill them because they never posed any sort of threat to it and there’s no reason to capture them because they can’t be facehugged.
Xenomorphs detect organic beings by hormones, corporal heat and smell, the sinthetics doesnt have any of that (i dont know about Samuels tho.) So they ignore them because they probably know what is about them.

If you care about the IA of the Humans being bad instead of focusing on the Alien IA which is incredible and mostly, the point of the game since he's the real danger, that just shows that your highly stupid.
