Stoddard Wells was an interesting and enjoyable experience. It was a long drive every day to and from L.A, but worth it. Dave is the reason I learned about it, so I showed up, popped open the back of my car, and had a literal tailgate. :D
I met some cool people, I sold some rocks, bought some rocks, traded rocks, gifted rocks, got gifted rocks, had a nice couple of conversations with Dave, gave him a couple of my favorite unique beach finds, showed off some of my not for sale collection, and got sunburned every day.
I want to go back next year. :)
21:00 is STUNNINGLY FABULOUS 😍😍
Great show dave thanks again for filming all this amazing stuff. The stoddard wells show was so amazing.
Pretty cool parts. Made my first rookie mistake and guess had all my content set on private 😂 instead of public. Hopefully the algo sees the long comment and directs some more traffic for ya
😍Sparkly potatoes😂
Does anyone have any recommendations for online Bead shops for semi pre/gem stones ?
Sorry my friend I don’t buy almost anything online
When I do it’s usually on Facebook groups like premium lapidary
Mamas is alright they are very retail but definitely not a bad spot to buy from
@@lapidarydave I have been using intrinsictrading and indianjewelrysupplies to order beads to use in my work/art. Just seeing if any other options think saw intrinsictrading booth in one of your past videos. Have not yet been able to get to a gem/mineral show my self yet.
I bought some beads in 2020 from Vitabeads. They are in NYC and have a huge selection. I was really into moss agate at the time and the beads did not disappoint.
What a great guy to gift you that. I think he enjoyed the good conversation with you. That's an ingenious idea to come up with the idea to make that mechanical saw
