Seen them live what an experience when I saw them i loved the the 2 albums theyve put out so far but seeing them live really made me realise how great of a band they are they!
They just released a new song a few days ago! It's called *"Jackie Down the Line"* It's a great song, though it's quite different, from what you've heard of them but i think you'll love it
Love this band! I'm so glad you went back to them. I'm the one who made the request for Boys in the Better Land, but you did some different version than the one I loved. If you have the time, go back and watch the "Darklands" version, you will really love it. Also, may I suggest the next song, I Don't Belong, I think that will seal the deal, a new favorite band!
My favorite song on my favorite album of 2020. Try Televised Mind next or just add both albums to a playlist. I’ve read the third album is ready to go, just don’t know a release date . I imagine it will be in 2022.
I've heard some people speculate that this song is sarcastic. But I don't hear it that way at all. The conviction in his voice speaks to a sincerity, at least in my opinion.
Solid delivery of vocals, not really clear if he was promoting abortion or not in there, couldn't quite tell from what he said, but basically good stuff
"where's me jumper " is a good example of the Irish absurd.
Saw them live in October in Nottingham - absolute class

@@intothemusic908 oh, one more thing!
If you do react to it, there are lyrics in the description of the official video, makes it easier to follow :)
This is just great. I'm getting the album for Xmas, so have held off listening to it, but after hearing this track it's getting more difficult...
This is gonna be my funeral jam 💯✌️
I can see why.
Glad you enjoyed your gift. They really are a great band and also one that has a nicely diverse catalogue already after 2 two albums.
Great request, Neil!

you should do more boards of canada! some favorites of mine are "everything you do is a balloon', 'chromakey dreamcoat', and '1969'.

Thanks, Kevin.
It's funny, the antecedents of that sound they have come from " Sultans of Ping FC".
I didn't know this band, although I've heard about them before. Some sort of Mark E. Smtih's feelings on it. Probably the vocals' style. Love it.
