Nice video but I disagree with you on how box leather wears and resells. I got my wishlist of a box K25 last spring and I have no visible scratches or wear to it despite using it a few times a month. Here in Europe, vintage box kellys resell for the same price as today’s store bought non box leathers and newer box kellys like mine are reselling for up to 2.5x from what I saw on the resale market. My newer barenia Constance also from the boutique has more of a visible stain and a couple of light scratches than my K25😊
I buy Hermès bags only because I like them not because I see them as a investment, if you think that way you will always lose and I refuse to play their pre-purchase game.
Dear Tania, I got chosen for my first Hermes bag to make an a la carte bag (actually I really don’t know how that happened), and as it will be my first Hermes bag, I went for a black Birkin 30, Togo, palladium hardware. Black stitching and capucin color on the inside to make it at least a little bit exciting 😂. I would really like to know, what is your opinion about the resell value (will never sell it, but just for interest) ? Happy to wait for the part II video :))
