Gives very old English/Irish Folk music vibes...like what we might hear centuries ago..with modern lyrics. Definitely makes me think of how must have sounded back then. Great reaction to a great song.
Great reaction Bells! This is a real hidden gem by The Big Push. The lyrics are impactful, the harmonies are fantastic and the chance to see Ren play the melodica; what is not to like!
I couln´t imagine someone would not like this beautiful song! But as you said. It´s a hidden gem. I´m happy to get to know about this hidden gems because of you guys 💚
@BellsMagMusik This song is from the beginning of The Big Push - their first video. The narrative is, that Ren want a folk song for the band and Gorran propose a song, which he have since 2016 (before the founding of The Big Push) still in the Drawer named "Swan Song". "Swan Song" is until now the only one released song from The Big Push, that Gorran sings also solo. He declined all other The Big Push song requests in his life streams because the songwriting portions of the other members. He mentioned also at paricular songs like for example "It´s Alright" the songwriting of Ren. The Big Push has a bunch of "not official released", but official - also in yt videos - played original songs and covers. In their video "The Big Push - Live from home (LiveNation broadcast)" at their own yt-channel they have brought two of this songs, "Radio" and "Slow Down" (in the description over the progress bar wrong marked as "Finger Mash", but announced from Gorran as "Slow Down"). In the lifestream on his yt-channel "Live from the chicken coop 🐔" three days ago has Gorran Kendall because a song request in the chat for "Radio" and "Slow Down" told, that he can´t bring "'Radio" ´cause it is from Ren. After three songs time to think it over he has declared, that becaus his song "Slow Down" has been declined from "The Big Push" he can him also release solo. "The Big Push - Live from home (LiveNation broadcast)" with the - in my opinion pretty good - songs "Radio" and "Slow Down" is been (wäre) my song request for your channel. The "The Big Pus"-members keep a low profile over the creatorship of their originals. It must be "worm out" (aus der Nase ziehen) from them with for example such song requests in lifestreams.
Wonderful reaction my friend… I think you may have been referring to angelic… that is kind of how I picture an angel singing … Gorran wrote this and performs it solo as well… it sounds lovely but so different…it is very medieval and minstrel soundings. I love it and they are beautiful musicians but also beautiful humans so the performance takes it to another level…🫶🏻❤️🫶🏻xxx
Hi there! Thanks for watching. The word i was looking for was "pure" but yes angelic fits also very well. And i agree with you about ther personalities. 💚 Thank you for the backroundinfo about Gorran. I like to know things like this 😉
Hey Bells, great reaction again. My recommendations: There is a great video posted by Rex Duffy that is called The Big Push Live... or try Precious... or Englishman in New York.
Hi there! Thanks for watching! And thank you so much for your recommendations. I did Precious and Enlishman in New York 😉 i have a playlist for The Big Push where they should be listed if you are interested. But i will take the video by Rex Duffy on my list. Please give me just a little time 💚
I think he would try everything and will get out at least a few tones 👌 he´s not scared to try. Melodica is played like a piano i think. So he should know what he has to do here. The song is really great! Love it 💚 Reminds me little of Simon and Garfunkle.

Such a beautiful song. Is there any instrument Ren can't play?
